Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaThere is no Netflix or streaming services, dstv is limited and the TV is rather small for the size off the room. Also there is a tatch roof so my husband and my allergies did start to act up (sinuses).
The property is well maintained and the staff are lovely, I forgot a few items when we left and they messaged me to let me know.

South AfricaNot much. Just small things like the toilet seat was a bit loose. One of the lamps were not working next to double bed. Could do with a bedside lamp next to both sides of the king size bed. That's it really.
Wow what a huge room. Its awesome! Absolutely loved the breakfast and what was even better was that it was served in room. Loved our stay, location was easily accessible and very peaceful. The room was very well sized and we had more than enough space for a family of 4. Njabs met us outside of check in time which was amazing and super accommodating.

South AfricaThe room requires some minor maintenance to secure taps and rails. Check that all kitchen appliances are working and recommend you add cereal bowls to Kitchenette Cupboard.
We travelled far to reach our destination and we were pleasantly surprised by what awaited at Sibsons Sibsons House offered us a charming thatched cottage with double bedrooms, bathroom and kitchenette. the property and house is surrounded by beautiful gardens adding to a sense of peace and tranquility. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms in our cottage were spacious, well furnished and very clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with beautiful crisp clean white linen.
