Nothing we didn't like; just sad we couldn't stay longer and get to see more of the town. We will be back sometime to explore the rest of the town..

We love Nieu Bethesda so its always lovely to visit. Its was only our second time staying over. We tried Die Ou Pastorie but they were full so Furrows was second choice, but we weren't disappointed. Close to everything. Accommodation was great and Althea was lovely and friendly.

My recent stay at Furrows Lodge in the charming town of Nieu Bethesda exceeded all expectations. The cozy guesthouse provided a tranquil escape with tastefully decorated rooms and modern amenities. The comfortable bed and immaculately clean ensuite bathroom ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The outside areas, offered inviting spaces to relax and unwind. Furrows Lodge's prime location within walking distance of cafes and attractions made exploring the local area convenient and enjoyable. Overall, my stay was a delightful surprise and a truly memorable getaway. I highly recommend Furrows Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Nieu Bethesda.

Beautiful setting and atmosphere. It's magical to sleep in the little forest. The space is comfortable and very spacious. The garden is also gorgeous. Dankie Althea it was a lovely experience.

Althea and Aubrey are fantastic hosts! They are down to earth and kind yet extremely professional. Althea has a great flair for design and detail and has taken every small detail into account in the accommodation which is just beautiful. Aubrey is a hands on, a magnificent chef and one of the kindest people we have met. Nieu Bethesda is lucky to have you both! This eclectic accommodation nestled amongst the trees is quite unique in this area and waking up in the manicured yet comfortable garden, and having a morning dip in the pool was amazing. This was an 8 hour journey for us but SO well worth it and we will return!

This is a most beautiful spot - much better than the photographs! Was a lovely surprise to arrive on a baking hot day, after a long drive, to find our rooms hidden in a really special garden amidst a forest. There are two communal braai areas, a big shaded table and chairs and a little plunge pool. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable and everything thought of. At night we looked up at a sky full of stars and enjoyed the tranquility and gorgeous air. We felt safe and very relaxed. Althea was warm and welcoming, and provided clear instructions on how to get there, where to buy food etc. We shopped at the local padstal and bought sosaties, sausages and rooster brood for our braai. Was delicious. Our regret was that we were only staying one night - we found it difficult to leave Furrows Lodge! What a find! And….a short walk to the Owl House and this remarkable village, restaurants etc. All in all, a memorable stay.

Stayed for 3 nights at Furrows Lodge hosted by Althea. Best accomodation in Nieu Bethesda. The bed was comfortable. Linen was of good quality. Small kitchen layed out perfectly. We braaied at her pool area in the rain!!!. Gardens are immaculate. Her husband owns a restaurant called Die Waenhuis (He is the chef) Had the most amazing lamb neck and beef stroganhoff. Definitely recommend that you book to eat there. We will no doubt be back again soon.
