The rooms had a designer and artistic flare. You felt like you were staying in luxury. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They own the Waenhuis, which is the best restaurant in town. The food and general experience was fantastic. Value for money! Will go again!

What a fab time we had. Lovely place, a road from the centre and nice sightseeing places in this little town. The cute fireplace was awesome. The place was cozy. The cherry on top was the sighting of snow and the promise of more to come. We extended our stay because of the more snow to come and were happy we did the weekend of 9 July to 11 July. Althea helped us clear up the bakkie windscreen on departure as the snow had iced up the windows. Thanks for being the perfect hostess!!

Very luxurious interior, every comfort. They even provided a gas kettle for tines when the electricity was off. The room is situated in a magnifiscent poplar forest which is so special.

The only part of our stay we didn't like was having only booked one night and having to leave. We could've easily have stayed a week and explored more and enjoyed the relaxing space of Furrows Lodge

Furrows Lodge was the best place we stayed at in South Africa. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided us with lots of information about Nieu-Bethesda, what to do, where to eat, where to drink, thankfully we decided to have dinner at the lodge. We popped to the pub around the corner which was friendly then got back to have an incredible dinner and lovely evening with the hosts. The rooms we had were immaculate the decor was beautiful, creating a very peaceful and relaxing vibe. The rooms were a very good size some larger, with a couple having a very nice lounge and a fire if you happen to visit during winter. All rooms had a small kitchen and fridge with anything you need if you wished to cook for yourself. I recommend letting your hosts cover the cooking though! Then breakfast the next morning was a buffet setting and again cannot fault a single thing. Overall value for money was outstanding.

It was a joy to stay at Furrows Lodge. I can't rave about it enough. We were warmly welcomed. Our host communicated by sms about road works enroute. The location is magical and the room is more of a deluxe suite - beautifully and stylishly decorated. The attention to detail was a highlight. What a wonderful experience.

Beautifull place, tranquil gardens, very friendly hosts, very well equipped, were kept up to date re road closure, loadshedding etc prior to arrival. Will most certainly go back to Furrows again.
