The area is adjacent a big cat sanctuary and you could hear lion roaring at times, antelopes also fenced in there I could see from the road. The flowers in season, peach tree having beautiful fruit still growing,

Did not see a host a cleaner was sent out to hand us a key. The previous people's garbage bag was standing against the wall where we had to enter.....not acceptable. The directions on booking.com was outdated

Our room was on the end of the complex near the main road. The geyser was off so it took time for us to get hot water.

There was some difficulty at the checkin with payments my booking request was only read after we check out. The management on site assist us with the special requests, to be able to get food once they saw we were on bicycles. It was clear that the booking request was not read before we got there.

We arrived after hours but we were checked in with a smile during loadshedding. Thank you very much for going the extra mile to welcome us. Parking is next to the unit which is a big bonus. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

The 2 units my friend and I were given were sadly far below the standard advertised and and not prepped. One unit had sugar and tea but no coffee. In the morning, with minus temperatures it was a terrible discovery when I opened the tap and there was no hot water! I let it run for 5 minutes and still nothing. The unit had two single beds despite booking a doublebed unit. The second unit had no soap in the bathroom. There were no spare blankets so during a freezing cold night my friend had to sleep in her jacket to try and stay warm. In both units the toilet paper was at its end and ran out, with no spare rolls. No dishwashing liquid in the units. To my knowledge Gaggle Inn was in the process of changing staff, however this should be no reason for the issues with our units. My feeling was the units were not prepped for guests. Gaggle Inn has huge potential and is very nicely located, however there seems to be a general lack of attention to the premises and units from our experience. Sadly, based on our experience we will not be returning to Gaggle Inn

I think a 2 plate stove and some basic pots and frying pan, a salad bowl would be a good idea Maggie was wonderful but perhaps they need to rethink the cooking facilities as it was a bit sparse for self catering Perhaps electric blankets, which do not draw much power would solve the heating problem

I was so surprised by the beautiful comfortable furniture and king-size bed The room was so beautifully decorated, cozy and inviting Maggie was so obliging and helpful. The room only had a microwave and she went to lengths to find us a 2 plate stove with pot so we could cook our pasta The other amazing surprise was breakfast was served in our room. And what a breakfast. We couldn't eat it all!! I loved the geese and hens who visited us Parking was outside the unit and so easy to bring in all your stuff Each unit is separate and private with distance from other units, very private and quiet
