They don't cater for vegetarians at dinner. I couldn't eat the starter, and could only eat the mains side dishes even though I had to pay full price for the set menu.

Nothing! It was perfect.

We stopped here on our way from Pretoria to Cape Town. There is nothing not to love about Garingboom Guest Farm. Abrie and Simone are just absolutely lovely and the farm was my mom's favourite stop along the way. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the farm is something else to the point that even the light fittings are dusted. Abrie came to check on us in the evening and Simone made a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I just loved every moment with both of them and can't wait to go back to stay. It's a wonderful escape from the busy city life with cute horses and lambs roaming in the area around the cottages. At night you have a beautiful view of the night sky with all the stars shining bright. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Breakfast was a treat, with home-made marmalade on fresh warm toast to compliment the traditional bacon and eggs. The breakfast room is full of family history, and was airy and bright and a pleasure to be in.

I have loved everything about my stay I don't have any recommendation to od.

the place is beautifully located, there is a very well marked trail that you can do that I really appreciated, the accomoadtion is very well taken care of and spacious and clean. The meals are homecooked, very tasty and the host is very welcoming. A great experience, I would recommend to everyone.

Garingboom is the best…..by far! Our stay at Garingboom on the farm Cyferfontein was awesome. Perfect setting, well priced combined with the tranquil farm ambiance You can't ask for a more well equipped, clean and cozy farm-cottage. We stayed here twice in a matter of days and tried both the leg of lam cooked meal and the braai option. Both highly recommendable. Be sure to arrive early to go on the game trail or the shorter no socks trail which is well worth it. Abrie is the perfect host….and a pretty good cook. Guess where we will be staying next time again…..and again.

We are a family of 6 in total and got 2 cottages next to each other, which was perfect. All the cottages have a beautiful view over the Karoo. The little ones (2,5 and 4,5 years old) loved the pool, the cat and the dogs after a long drive in the car. We enjoyed our Karoo dinner and breakfast. Thank you for your great hospitality. We will come again.

A stunning Karoo farm with a rich history and wonderful setting. Draws travelers back year after year. I was lucky to stumble upon this haven and will definitely return with my family next year as we travel between the coast and Guateng. The lamb dinner was delicious and wholesome.

The farm is beautiful and a lovely place to stop over on your way to the Cape. Abrie is friendly and efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. And the Karoo lamb to dinner was delicious!
