Everything was perfect and exactly as described or communicated in advance. The hosts did everything to make us feel completely comfortable. Breakfast was prepared with passion and love and could be enjoyed in a unique environment. The in-house restaurant offers culinary highlights in a romantic atmosphere. The property is huge and a real oasis of well-being. The proximity to Addo NP is perfect. We hope to come back again soon....

our room was not similar to the images we saw on the website and initially was a bit of a let down. but the yummy food, kind owners, and lovely property made up for it

fantastic property with many lovely spots to hang out between trips to Addo. located within just 12 minutes of the main gate the accommodation was very charming. the highlight was the restaurant called the Eatery where both the waitress and the chef were incredibly hospitable. I applaud the Chef for his fantastic cooking! it was without a doubt the highlight of our stay

Beautiful gardens and excellent location. Close to Addo Elephant park, restaurants and a supermarket. Friendly staff and very relaxing atmosphere. Delicious breakfasts. Very accomodating with requests.

Just a suggestion: if you put out some bird feeders (sugar water) you could perhaps attract more of the beautiful sunbirds. Also, please put a sign up at the second security gate to alert foreigners (not evident to us and according to the manager this happens all the time...) to drive right up to the gate so that it opens.

Everything was lovely. Nice breakfast served in the garden. Very convenient to be able to have a nice dinner at the property - maybe a vegetarian and fish choice would be nice. This was mea, meat, meat... not unusual un South Africa.

We had a great time at Gerald G-guesthouse. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful (f.i we got a lovely breakfast to go when we wanted to do an early safari). The room is great, very spacious with a superb bathtub. And make sure you have dinner in The Eatery, it is so cozy and has nice food, you wouldn’t want to miss it.

Emma has fabulously taken over the property from her parents and it is an oasis or colors, rest and joy. It feels like coming home, it is warm, welcoming and so relaxing.

I can’t stress enough what a wonderful host Emma has been: even before getting there she answered all my 125 questions via email, calmed my nerves with regards to safety and security and South Africa. Her staff has always been extremely attentive and kind and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life I guess. The property is on a citrus farm, and has beautiful green lawns with flower gardens, a pool, and a wonderful dinner spot. our room was spacious, very comfortable and had all the amenities.
