Spotless unit, homely feel, spacious, fully equipped, stunning location with the beach and golfcourse on your doorstep, in the best kept secret, the little village of Southbroom, a tropical paradise. Lovely undercover verandahs, hammocks and we had the pool to ourselves, very private. Beautiful garden facing one of the most scenic golf courses in SA. Lovely sea sounds at night. Our labrador had a great time, fully fenced. I can't recommend this unit enough! One of the best places we've stayed at to date. Owners keep in touch regularly and happily assist with any reasonable requirements/queries. Loved the extra touches by way of special mini soap bars, choccies and rusks! An absolute fabulous stay! Thanks Mark and Liza, can't wait to return, God willing.

Its a very beautiful decorated property and there was more than enough space for the kids to run around and play. The host also gave good suggestions of what to do in the area.

The weather

Everything , from the Host's friendliness and hospitality, to the property, the facilities and location. Just the weather that didnt play fair .. but overall stay and experience was amazing. Thank you to Liza and Mark Ferguson. The detailing and effort that was put into making our stay amazing is what I appreciate the most - the birthday cake was an added bonus ...thank you :-)

Everything was perfect.

Everything! From the owner showing such warmth and hospitality to every little detail being perfect. Upon arrival the owner of the premises welcomed us into the property with a mock tail and chocolates. The property was amazing to say the least with secure parking, to the beautiful house itself. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and we were provided with emergency lights and candles which was thoughtful and much appreciated. We had every cooking utensil needed to cook both supper and make dessert which we seek from every property and this one lived up! Great views and pure serenity with a fire pit to warm up on the cold evenings and a great view from the dining table on the deck outside while we enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast. The convenience of having a SPAR within a close radius made life really easy as we didn't have to leave to get our basic necessities if needed. OUTSTANDING! I would definitely recommend as the price is extremely fair and the property will leave you speechless. Thank you the owner for being so kind and giving us such a warm welcome.

Firstly Liza and Mark our wonderful and friendly hosts greeted us with welcome drinks into their incredibly beautiful holiday home. The attention to detail in every aspect was super impressive. I loved that it was pet friendly and had a private pool. It was over and above our expectations, thoroughly enjoyed our getaway as a family and will definitely be back!

It's a beautiful, homey self catering unit with everything you need to make a lovely breakfast or any meal. Coffee, tea, sugar and rusks was supplied which we did not expect. There was so much care taken, everything exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be going back.

The perfect place to stay. Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The candles throughout the unit made it so easy if load shedding hit. The hammock on the verandah for a relaxing time reading a book, the golf course right there makes it easy to watch players and the gate at the bottom of the garden makes it an easy walk to one of the more private and beautiful beaches in Southbroom. Mark and Liza are so welcoming and accommodating. I cannot say enough about how great this place is and highly recommend staying here.

It's only small little things that needs adjusting. Just the security of the gate and garage that does not close or lock at night. The braai isn't functional. The first cleaner didn't clean the fridge. But besides that such a wonderful place and so much potential.

We really appreciated the owners friendly service and follow ups on our stay.We truly enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others. The property is absolutely beautiful and just loved the interiors. Really makes you feel like you're on holiday. The little gifts was such a nice touch.

Because of the heat an air conditioner would’ve been great as the portable fan didn’t quite cool the place. Having wifi would’ve been an added advantage.

The 2 plate stove option on top of portable oven is high and difficult to cook on, even though there is a provided floor step.

The host Liza was fabulous with greeting and welcoming us on arrival with a pleasing jug of roses flavoured juice, chocolates on the bed, rusks; coffee and sugar are some welcome comforting touches The inside of the cottage is comfortable with a beautiful selection and arrangement of colours, the beds; bedding and pillows are good quality, Outside has a great braai and boma area; swimming pool and hammocks, which you can relax on and listen to the ocean sounds. I commend Mark on Liza in their hospitality effort and recommend the Golf Beach and Sea. I am sure I will chose to stay here again.

Inadequate fans, unmowed grass, had maintenance workers daily except our last day and gardener (who we thought would mow the lawn) arriving at 8am on a Sunday. Kept us housebound as we had dogs on the property.
