Everything was great!!

We loved our stay at Gorgeous George! Everything about the hotel was unique, chic, artsy, and stylish. The rooms were very large, and the shower was great. The free breakfast on the roof was delicious. The rooftop in general was an awesome place to relax. We loved sitting on the little pool deck, and we loved the bar (Gigi's Rooftop) so much that we went every night after dinner! The cocktails were delicious. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even surprised us by decorating our room for our honeymoon, which was very thoughtful. We were a little concerned that the hotel was located on the pedestrian mall and Ubers would not be able to drop us off in front of the door at night, but the drop off spot was a very short walk to the hotel, and we felt completely safe. I highly recommend staying Gorgeous George while in Cape Town!

The views are on Holiday Express hotel, but makes sense when you stay in the center of town. The pool was small and the inside dome was losing its paint in the corners, not the freshest smells. More to look at, less to swim in :)

Wonderful staff, warm and kind went the extra mile on any requests. Breakfast options were vast and super tasty. Bed was super comfy and the suite was equipped with everything you need. Even a yoga mat and pillow!

Honestly everything! From the moment you enter you are treated like royalty! The rooms are gorgeous, the service is fast, the staff is super friendly and helpful. A truly amazing experience. The breakfast is the best Ive ever had!

Just have to watch out walking around after dark around the area, but that's not exclusive to this street in Cape Town.

The staff didn't mention the amenities in the hotel, ie the bar on 1st floor which holds live events, or that we could arrange for a massage at the hotel (even though we had asked for recommendations)

Clean and modern decor, loved all the extra touches like the Marshall speakers in each room. Great location, just a short walk/uber away from alot of the main attractions. Breakfast was so good, very surprised at the level of quality and choice for an included breakfast. Would definitely recommend

The bed and the pillows are too soft. That’s not comfortable for us. The staff seemed to be helpful but there was a time that we asked for additional 3 bottles of water and we waited like almost an hour and after 3-4 times of follow-up calls. And at the end we only got 3. And they we stopped asking them again for the remaining days and bought ourselves drinking water. I think the location is nice that it’s in the heart of CBD. But it’s CBD and so, less shops, supermarkets, cafes, etc.

The breakfast was perfect! I would give 10 out of 10 for the breakfast. Variety of choices, big portion. The room is well decorated. Very unique and beautiful. Quite spacious. Love the space and that they have a nice sofa in the room. Love it that they have a nice rood top bar which is perfect for an evening drink. No need to go out.
