Clean, modern room. Liked the furnishings. Easy to come and go. Good parking. We had everything we needed and some. Decent shower. Comfortable bed.

The sitting room in front of the rooms was cold and dark. The stairs are very long and high,it would not be user friendly for a person who is sick

It did feel a bit strange going in and out of the front door through the kitchen/ lounge because it felt we were in someone else’s home - particularly when the older lady was sitting in the lounge watching TV the whole afternoon. Might be better to be able to access the sliding door at the back where cars are parked. Also, would be nice to have shower gel in the bathroom (only shampoo/ conditioner was available) and some bowls/ plates/ cutlery available in the room.

Good location, easily can walk to the beach and supermarket. Nina’s restaurant is nearby and would suit most people’s food preferences. Place was clean and bathroom was freshly renovated.

The new manager didn't approve ANY of my requests to book in earlier As I was traveling from far, so I had to wait 4 hours to just get in Then she wasn't there, but an elderly lady who wasn't friendly I miss Brenda

The whole experience was lovely! Super friendly and a very professional host. The room was comfortable and very clean and we could not ask for a better location. In my opinion, excellent value for money. We will be back!

I guess if I'm honest the only thing I didn't like was the balconies. They were open plan and anyone could walk along them from other rooms. I'm not saying they would as we wouldn't of done but it was possible. Lovely I guess if you have more in your party with adjoining rooms to yours.

The location of the guest house was ok with a lovely sea view. The owner Brenda was very welcoming to us and helpful with advice on our next leg of our journey. We didn't have a breakfast as checked out by 6am. Brenda made sure the back door was unlocked for us by then so it made it easier to access our car to load up.

Paid R100 less in Knysna the night before, with breakfast included and for a whole lot more as far as the room size, facilities etc go. Guess JBay is just more expensive.

Great location and lovely host. Everything was clean and everyone was very hospitable and informative about the area. Very close proximity to the beach and restaurants.

Nothing really, maybe the fact that cars are not behind a closed wall / gate but I have stayed there several times without any incident or issue

Quiet, very well priced and realistic with their prices, clean, has full satellite channels compared to most that only has a few.. good WiFi..well appointed rooms comfortable bed

I didn't like the reception. I arrived late, I phoned to apologise and arrange late check in. The lady was nice enough to wait for me but made it very clear she wasn't happy. I really felt discriminated. I booked a room for 1 and I was quizzed if I had a partner with me. A little bit of hospitality would have been great. I so happened to have my own hospitality establishment and I should hope that my guest do not ever feel like I did
