The host Hendrik was extremely accommodating. We communicated that we'd be arriving quite late (7pm) and he was there when we arrived and had even turned on our room lamps to ensure we entered into a lit room. We also left quite early and the kitchen staff provided us with a quick breakfast setup, much earlier than their regular breakfast period. It's the small things that make a place great. The listing was misleading. It said private bathroom but there was no wall or partition between the bathroom and the bedroom. Also no coffee machine as listed.

The room was ok but the beds were extremely hard and firm. The room had no privacy for the bathroom as it was separated by a sheer curtain that had no function.

Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The peacefulness on the property was also very welcomed. The host greeted us and was very good with communicating with us.

The location. Greeting from Hendrik the host v friendly and v helpful with date changes and he upgraded us to lovely room. Breakfast was delicious. Gardens lovely. Great that candles and matches provided.

Gorgeous gardens and a lovely hotel. Really enjoyed our room and breakfast. However, the pool was very dirty and as it was 38 degrees it was really disappointing we couldn't swim. Fortunately the air con worked!

The bed is very high. The mattress was uncomfortable with my back issue, but the owner provided a step that made it easier to get on.

I loved the wood floor; it shone, and it was clean. The rooms are neat and clean. The breakfast was nicely prepared, and the kitchen staff was very friendly. The garden was spectacular.

The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. There's a little bar area and a common lounging area that's very pretty. Breakfast was excellent. Great location

The bathroom and towels did not smell pleasant. The windows in the room were broken. The facilities seem tired and rundown (poor maintenance). The breakfast was OK, but not great and the coffee not good. Our room (Room 20) is next to the laundry room and staff are able to look into the room and there are washing lines in front of the room. There is no aircon in the room, just a fan.

The staff was friendly and there is a nice garden, although not that well maintained.
