The shower or, rather, bath was a little complicated in our room. No big problem though.

Michele is an excellent host. We really liked the house and over all atmosphere of Guinea Fowl. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts. The location, a short walk from the ocean beach but still protected from the wind, is an advantage too!

charming, beautifully-decorated Artist’s seaside house with balconies overlooking the conservation area. we appreciated having a fridge and kettle + tea/ coffee/biscuits in the room! Lovely helpful host, Michelle, who kindly arranged for our taxi to the airport and also ordered us a takeaway on the first night and advised on local shops, restaurants etc - many thanks Michelle!

Michele is a wonderful host, she is always helpful and you can ask for places to go and what’s interesting is going on around. The location is clean, cozy, beautiful and quiet, the beach and a couple of restaurants are near, town of Kommetjie is pleasant and calm and you get all the sunsets!

Micheles place is really something special! Private unique home that allows you to relax and really be integrated with nature! Michele has a charming style of hospitality for people from all over the world. Everyone immediately feels welcome and with her intuition she manage to fulfill almost every wish. At the same time we learned a lot about the peninsula and South Africa. We came as strangers and leave as family members - 100% :-) We love this place.

Accomodation is inside a private house and it should more convenient for both parties if the rooms can be reached from the terrace with a seperate stairs. Showering needs two extra hands.

The breakfast was lovely and beautifully set out. The fresh croissants were delicious. The guest house is located right next to the vlei (wetland) and within easy walking distance of the beach.

Liquid soap for the shower and hand basin, but no shampoo/conditioner etc.

Breakfast was healthy and substantial. Hostess was very friendly and informative. Bed was very comfortable and the mini kitchen in a cupboard cute. Location was great. Weather was great.
