Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsWe stayed at Harmony in the off season and we were actually the only ones there. Apart from the beautiful tent and view from the tent, we could see so many starts and the entire milkiway from our balcony, which was mesmerizing. Apart from all of that Mike is a very nice host and we had some good talks, he made us lovely dinner and breakfast and helped us if needed and provided recommendations and directions.

Switzerlandnothing, everything worked out 100% for us
Absolute dream stay in the middle of the landscape. Animals around the tent, opposite a whole family of giraffes. Mike gives lots of tips for excursions, Addo Park and everything you want to know. Very nice breakfast with nothing missing, even Mike's special fruit salad, Be sure to try the braii in the evening, Mike is the grill master and Mariejke conjures up the finest side dishes and delicious desserts. We will remember this fantastic place for a long time, thank you both.

GermanyThe accomodation was wonderful. I love it, when there is a common table for breakfast and dinner, so you can meet people and talk to fellow travellers. The BBQ was perfect and really really good. All in all, we stayed longer than orignally planned and we really felt at home. Recommendations: you should plan 2 visits at Addo national park, as it is amazing. Driving to Addo is around 1h, but in the end not a problem at all.

NetherlandsThe fact that the dinners and views could only get worse from stay onward…. I would visit this place at the end of your trip, because it will set new standards.
The hospitality of the owners was beyond borders. They were in the Lapa during dinner and breakfast(common building) where they prepared the (AMAZING) dinner over the braai. Even though being approachable and very friendly they seemt to be keeping their distance. The tents were also perfect. We had tent 2 which had a twin bunk bed and a queen size bed. It was well maintained and regarding the surroundings nice and clean. The view on the deck was amazing. All in all an adventurous stay with nothing left to wish.

South AfricaNothing not to like. 100% winner.
Harmony seriously has the wow factor. The tents are so luxurious and the views from each one are very special. Opening all the windows created an amazing view that was so relaxing and brings nature into the tent. (Windows are mosquito safe so no problems there). The best experience ever. Mike and Mariejke are one of the best hosts I have experienced. True down to earth hospitality. We certainly made new friends with them. Booking the evening meal is a must! Mariejke is an amazing cook and Mike a Braai master! The food was just delicious. Such great value for money and the atmosphere in the evening was super. The friendliest people and they gave great tips for travellers. They recommended the Walking Giraffe safari on the neighbouring property and was an experience you won't forget. All in all this was wonderful and will be going back anytime I am in the Eastern Cape. You cannot go wrong staying there. Perfect location for Addo Elephant Park which was not far away. We stayed 3 nights but would have stayed longer if we had known how incredible it was. We made some lovey memories there.

United StatesPrivate massive tent with great views from the porch. We unfortunately arrived in the rain and left in the rain, so the birdwatching I hoped for was a little dampened. Fortunate rain for all the animals plants and people of the bushveld tho! The owners are gracious and helpful - and such good cooks. Despite the downpours and wind, we slept warm and dry in our unique accommodation. Would love to visit again on a sunny day!

NetherlandsWe loved our stay at Harmony, was a nice ending of our South Africa trip! Tent was clean and nicely decorated, had a great view, and outdoor shower was a treat. Mike and Marietjie are really nice host. They gave us tips on visiting Addo. We also went to Daniell Cheetah project nearby based on their suggestion and it did not disappoint. The homemade dinner/braai was delicious! I would recommend this place if you visit Addo area. Thanks Mike and Marietjie for all the nice conversation also :) Erik&Amanda

We stayed 2 nights at Harmony, and wish we could’ve stayed longer :-). This place is wonderful: in the middle of beautiful nature, the luxury tents are very comfortable and clean, breakfast and dinner was lovely, … The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional, we’ve had the warmest welcome here. This is the perfect choice if you want to visit Addo Elephant Park and enjoy a wonderful time in nature.

NetherlandsLeaving.
Glamping that has all the luxury safari settings but on a much affordable price. Each morning we ran to the deck always excited to see which wildlife animals we could spot. We saw antelopes, warthogs, ostriches, kudus, giraffes (and even a dung beatle in the property's walking path). As for the hosts, Mike & Marietije, are both incredible, and warm people who will go above and beyond to make every guests stay memorable. We enjoyed the conversations with them as well as Mike's perfect braai & Marietijes yummy homemade cooking. While a visit in the Addo Elephant National Park is what attracts most visitors in the area, our visit to the giraffe farm & the Danielle Cheetah Project (both recommended by Mike) are highly recommended to see.

ThailandI can't say that I didn't not enjoy anything.
The hosts were amazing and we felt welcomed into their home environment straight away. We were visiting, albeit passing through at the same time. Food was good home cooking, nothing fancy or pretentious, but simply delicious! Accommodation was comfortable and adequate for a traveling stay. There is no need to stay at an over the top R10000 per night resort when this little gem ticks all the boxes at great value.

South AfricaEverything was great. No complaints. Would just suggest some extra hooks /rails for towels.
Lovely peaceful location, comfy tent and a yummy breakfast. Hosts were lovely and very helpful with info. It was about a 45 to 55 minute drive to Addo Elephant park on tarred road. So not close but not too far either. The dirt road might have been quicker but would have been a bit rough on the tyres. Family tent with bunk beds for the kids had everything we needed.

IsraelWater pressure is pretty low for some reason. Shower in our room was only an outdoor shower or a standalone bath - which, in our opinion, is less comfortable when it's rainy or windy outside and you can't shower in the outdoor shower. We didn't mention any of the above to the owner, they would probably take care of that. Note that wifi was available only in the dinning room.
The place is pretty close to the Addo elephant park. The owners are wonderful people and they offer a bbq night in the place. we had two great evenings there. they also gave us very good information about everything we needed. The room is a modern tent with wooden floor and a balcony. really nice and private. Thank you Mike & Marietjie!
