The pillows were a bit too soft, so they weren't too pleasant for me. It was winter, so the cottage got really cold, and the aircon was mounted a bit too high towards the ceiling.

The decor was generally very stunning and stylish in the vintage old yet classy style it was in. The cottages were very spacious and homey. The breakfast was very good! Especially the freshly baked goods and the freshly squeezed juices.

We visited Hartford for our last couples holiday before we have our first baby, and it did not disappoint! Chef Justin and Mandisi took care of us for most of our stay, and made it so special. Loads of attention to detail, special accommodations, and making the extra effort to make it the most luxurious trip. We ate so well, we were absolutely spoiled. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere was so welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit!

The suite pools are not heated which is disappointing especially with the price one pays. For a hotel of this standard the pools should be heated.
