This hotel is little bit out of the way of Stellenbosch which proved to be challenging at times. But the beautiful grounds and amazing service made up for the distance.

Such a beautiful hotel with amazing amenities and very attentive staff. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast spread was amazing.

The main restaurant was a bit soulless. Not very welcoming so only ate there once. The food was fantastic but no ambience in restaurant at all.

We liked the layout of the hotel and the size of room. We enjoyed eating at different places during the day and the wine tasting was very good.

Remote location in the countryside, you need car/taxi to get anywhere. But we knew that and that was great. Great breakfast, cold part on buffét and warm dishes from menu. Nice restaurants.

Since the hotel is quite new, the hotel staff seems to be not well trained. We had a few misunderstandings with them. The breakfast was a la carte which was nice, but they kept on messing up our order even though we ordered only 2 things. After 1 hour, we still did not receive the order we placed. Moreover, the food could be better, especially at dinner we did not enjoy the food.

The hotel was modern and sleek. The facilities of the hotel are great. We had a wine tasting included and there was a discount on massages. We also played golf at the range which was included. The gym and pool have everything one needs and is very clean. Our room was cleaned twice a day. Our highlight was the wine tasting as the staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also loved the screening room, which we got to book for a night to watch a movie.

The room we were in (120) is next door their server room, at night when you would hope for / expect quiet the server fans are actually quite loud. Which creates a massive dilemma the room is fantastic (only one tier below Presidential suite) but the sound when you are trying to sleep is unbearable.

Staff were great really accommodating and friendly it felt like everyone was going above and beyond which was amazing. The staff is exceptional and they all really enhance the experience.

We had a strange upgrade to a villa with an old key that constantly didn’t work. So everytime we got back to villa we were stuck in front of the door. And the staff from the hotel often couldn’t open it either for at least 10 minutes or another key had to be fetched. Then the hotel manager who is strange anyway did try to blame it on us.

We liked the view, the pool and the restaurant. The staff in general in general is very friendly and welcoming.
