Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South Africathe utensils and crockery is very sad. no provision is made by owner to assist in time of load shedding not even a candle of a battery lamp. most places already have emergency globes installed that is battery powered.

South AfricaThe place was not entirely clean, we still found bottle caps on on lounge carpet and kitchen counter was dirty. The bed is old as it has springs poking during sleep as well as the couch. The shower door is off the rail and making it difficult to take a shower. During loadshedding there was no backup and host didn't even advice of loadshedding times either. During that time he is also unavailable

South AfricaThe shower door is broken, and the showerhead is too low. The big blinds in the bedroom broken. Nowhere to do your hair as there is only one plug in the corner of the bedroom and the mirror on the otherside of the bedroom on the floor. Check the washers on the shower taps, dripping. The tap in the kitchen is lose and no hot water. Fix these things and the rating will improve.

A wonderful spot for a get away. It was secluded from the rest of the house. The cottage was very clean and neat. The views in backyard were beautiful. The aesthetics were pleasing. They have a wonderful vintage heater. They had ample hot water and the bathroom was also clean. The hosts answered the phone every time we called them and met our request. The staff was very friendly, warm and welcoming. They changed linen during our stay which was great. They also have enough parking. An overall great experience.
