Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

South AfricaSome Towels were worn out, bath/shower has black mould that can be easily cleaned up with a brush. The water was cold only to find out the geyser was not switched on before our arrival. We were a family of 6 and after the first 2 bathed the water was cold. The rooms didn't have any utensils except for 2 cups and saucers one has to ask for everything you need like plates and cutlery.
The linen was clean. Adult swimming pool was clean

I don't even know where to begin. On the first occasion, when my mom was sick, the owner of the lodge dropped everything and quickly rushed her off to the nearest hospital. He was extremely patient and supportive throughout the experience. Victor, one of the managers of the hospital always checked on us to see if everything was going well. During our time at the lodge ( before and after the hospital), we received excellent service from the staff which ranged from superb cleanliness to the mouthwatering breakfast they offered. I never ever felt unsafe or stressed while at the lodge. I really have ZERO compliants. They are a wonderful group of people and I would recommend them tenfold. I can't wait to visit again because they have now become my family.

Value for money. Cleanliness of facility. Exceptional conduct of staff. Victor was so patient with us . Someone knocked of the gate and the motor was not working in the morning and the lady in the kitchen offered to manually open the gate for us .

South AfricaThere was no facilities in the room to prepare your own food only a microwave not even cutlery only 2 tea cups and saucers with 1 teaspoon. I booked this accomodation because I thought it was self catering as I need to prepare our food myself. We had to make food in the main kitchen, was very uncomfortable because there was a group of students that also used the kitchen. The kitchen was also not so clean. There was also no kitchen cloth or dishwashing liquid available in the unit. Had to ask for extra towels as there was only 2 in the room and we were 3 people.

South AfricaProperty needs renovation. No rails in bathroom for towels. No hook or holder for toilet paper. No anti slip mat in bath. A remote for the gate will be a good add on, padlock difficult to lock and means you mist get in and out of car. Second day no towels in room, no one at reception to ask for towels.

South AfricaOther guests were very rowdy. Another vehicle drove into our bike rack & damaged my son's bicycle, while we were parked on the property. We ordered a full english breakfast & got eggs & toast. The staff forgot to cook the rest. Left there very unhappy.
There was one gentleman who was very friendly and helpful but was unfortunately not available on the morning we left when our property was damaged & the breakfast staff was useless. It was in close proximity to where we needed to be. It was clean.
