Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really happy I chose the venue to host a birthday celebration for my partner with a few close friends. Everything is beautifully maintained, and offers perfect privacy for all the guests. A real spoil & pleasure was having David the chef & Thandy there to greet guests , set up , cook and clean up. Would highly recommend the venue if you're looking for a lodge with all the bells & whistles.

United StatesThe maintenance was not up to standard. Showers and baths which leaked, non-functional air hockey and pool tables. Inadequate hot water.
The staff at the site were amazing and worked so hard to keep us fed and comfortable. David and Thandi were an absolute delight! The style and decor of the lodge was glamorous and tasteful.

South AfricaThe only thing would be the cold pool. it’s so enticing and would’ve loved to spend more time enjoying it.
Everything from facilities, to comfort, to location, to the 2 amazingly talented chefs (David & Thandi) who made the most fabulous meals giving one the time to relax and connect with friends.
