Room 7 shower was not great. worked but not great.

The DSTV was unstable. The Wi-Fi was slow. The gate is never locked, is that safe? There were no signs of Hinterland Lodge on the drive towards the lodge the only sign is the writing on the wall. Consider adding more wall art in the bedrooms and living room. Hot water in the shower could not be regulated to make it warm enough to shower, it would either be too hot or too cold, we couldn't make it comfortably warm for a nice shower. Lastly, for a family room we needed more than one toilet.

the family room was very spacious and lovely. I liked the cleanliness of the room and lodge in general. However the walls in the kitchen were not 100% clean and also a better looking stove is required - (room 6). There was also 1 or 2 cockroaches seen. The breakfast tasted fine however consider giving options to choose from instead of just making it and bringing it to the room, consider letting us complete a document where we tick off what we would like for breakfast based on availability. Also R120 is quite steep for a simple breakfast.

Main gate is manually operated, a remote operated gate would nice so to avoid waiting for security especially at night. Please also mark the pool with the maximum depth of the pool for safety reasons.

Cleanliness and friendly service. The area is very quiet. Really loved the seat up for deluxe rooms. Definitely coming back for family rooms in future.

Deep cleaning and disinfecting after each checkout would be really nice.

I didn't understand the method of their breakfast, I believe I should be given a menu for breakfast, not what they have.

It's a very nice place and the staff was very helpful. I got really sick and they managed to help me find a doctor that really helped me.

The confusion at check in, I really didn't appreciate that. In fact there was no one at reception. I had to be assisted by the security guard.

The size of the room. The fact that the room has all the basics one needs. The breakfast was also filling and most appreciated.

Nothing I didn't like but half the shower door was not installed.

Room 1 was very clean and tidy and has a full kitchenette. Staff were friendly and very helpful, though give the impression they're new to hospitality. A little more proactive hospitality warmth would take the first impression up a level.

The shower glass in Room 2 is broken when you shower the water wet the floor when you move out of the you might get injured by slippery of water and the there is no electricity back up when there is load shedding

We know that we experiencing load shedding so they need to improve in that to have a back up like a generator.. We stayed in the dark for almost 2hrs.. Also do something about the dogs next door. We did not sleep the 2dta we booked for only one day.. Dogs and load shedding it's problem
