Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe only thing l would add would be brighter overhead lights above the bed, because l.like to read in bed! As a single, senior white female, l did not wander around the neighbourhood because the staff indicated that there could be concerns for my safety.
The cooked breakfasts were ample, with some variety each day. Cereals, bread for toasting and pastries were also available!, as well as fresh fruit and cold cuts. The staff members were friendly, helpful and accommodating! They were happy to store my cases in.the back office. The lifts were quick and quiet. Lunch and dinner were available and the meals were substantial and tasty! I always felt safe because there was always a security guard/porter on duty. There was a link to African Eagle Tours, which picked up passengers from Hollow on the Square. This was perfect for me and l did several of the excellent tours. Access to the coffee machine and fresh water was available all day, in the dining room, which adjoined the lobby and bar. The rainhead shower was very easy to manage!

AustraliaIt took a little while to appreciate how central the location was. I felt uncomfortable walking anywhere on my own as a woman as there were few people about. There was plenty of security staff though.

AustraliaThe bed was a bit too hard for me. Wifi was slow during loadshedding times. Not much going in the ground floor restaurant compared to the other hotels/restaurants in the area but you can always go there instead.
Central place to go to near CITCC and good value for money compared to the bigger hotel brands. The room was very big and had a big desk.

The art pieces in the public areas (dining, reception etc) are all original and not random generic prints - we appreciated this special touch.
