One waitron is not enough to deal with 16 people arriving for dinner at the same time, as the waitron concerned had to deal with delivering room service orders and deal with all the diners in the café. However, the quality of the food makes up for the wait. Dont be in a hurry. Breakfast is pretty speedy.

The food. Perfect steak and proper eggs Benedict. Not often you come across authentic eggs Benedict. Hollandaise sauce spot on. Hazel and her new companion, both rescue dogs. Some people may not like the dogs coming into the dining area, though. Professionalism and friendliness of all staff. They certainly go the extra mile. Staff are fantastic. From the security guard Trish and Sipho. The manager is very helpful. The staff were charming and helpful. It was my husband's birthday. They went the extra mile with special Birthday messages.

Room was on the first floor on the corner facing a very busy road . Relatively well insulated from the noise but not a very relaxing setting. Ask for a room which doesn’t face Oxford Street and one on a higher floor if you have a choice.

Shared balcony was a surprise!

Room was very spacious and well equipped. Staff, including security, were all very friendly and the roof top bar was lovely!

The fact that my room 206 was sharing a balcony with room 205 A bit awkward, as I like to have the AC off and the doors open, but knowing there are strangers using the same space I anticipated to be allocated to my room. Anyway, will request different room next time

There is no downside of this place I think, really enjoyed our stay here!

The HSH Rosebank is neatly situated in one of the nicest neighbourhood of Joburg. Rosebank is a green area, but with the Oxford str. nearby reaching all parts of the city is fairly easy. We wanted to explore the town and I think HSH Rosebank was really great "base camp" for that. The breakfast was really great (it is not a lot places serving eggs Benedict for breakfast - LOVED IT).The room was clean and well equipped, the roof-top terrace is a great place to chill after the day with nice views, and Hazel is the cutest addition to the staff that is extremely friendly and helpful!! There are some really nice albums/books about Joburg in the hallways - quite honestly, we got some really cool ideas from them about what we could visit in town. Thanks for that extra!

Genuine, homely atmosphere. Loved the honesty bar. The food is excellent - you must eat here. Staff kind and rooms and beds spacious and comfortable.

Could have been some more atmosphere on the roof terrace, like some music.

The staff were wonderful, the food great and the hotel was beautiful. It was brilliant having a rooftop pool and bar. We also adored the hotel dog.

The staff was disappointing. Confused the orders in the restaurant 3 times in a row, then it took almost 2 hours to get our food at the restaurant and when we finally got it, some of the dishes were uneatable (tartar was extremely sour).

The aircon was perhaps not quite as strong as I prefer it to be (as it was a very hot day) - but the temperature in the room was pleasant nonetheless.

The facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious and stylish. The rooftop pool is a treat. I would recommend staying here to anyone. I was really impressed and believe it was great value for money!

Everything was great!

What a fabulous hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We pre-booked a driver, Hugh, through the hotel for our party of four and he absolutely made our Johannesburg stay perfect and one to remember. We enjoyed trips to Lesedi cultural village, the Cradle of Humankind and Johannesburg and Soweto. When we heard that Maroon Five were playing at the stadium, Hugh even arranged at a moment's notice through the hotel travel service, to take and collect us from there! What an incredible service he provided and what an asset he is to Rosebank Home Suites!

The increased 2024 price now makes it bad value for money. Towels stained. Furniture stained. Breakfast service very bad. We had finished breakfast and our coffee cups still hadn’t been removed from the table. Staff clearly need better training.

It's not a complaint, just an observation, but if you're going to have a rooftop bar, you need to have person up there full time to take drinks orders. We waited a long time and often had to message to ask for service on the rooftop.

Outstanding staff, bar and food service was a little slow BUT more than made up for by the exceptional quality of the food (seriously we ended up eating most of our meals at the hotel it was SO good, plus the friendliness and warmth of the staff made the whole experience outstanding!

Nothing could have been better. It is always a superb experience.

I love staying here. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The bed is perfect, not too soft and not too hard and it is always quiet.

Service at front desk was slow since only using one phone. Lack of DSTV means access to quality sport out of reach. This can actually mean will not use the facility when there are big games on TV.

Laundry service is offered (outsourced) but too expensive as they charge per item. Would be great if there were spa/gym facilities.

The breakfast wasn’t the best, the fresh omelette was very good, but the ‘fresh’ fruit selection was pretty poor and didn’t look very fresh.

Nice room, very clean and comfortable, in a secure area with small pool on the roof top terrace. Within a relatively short commute to The River and Royal Jo’burg golf courses. Also very close to the bars and restaurants of The Bank district.
