Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaHouse needed a proper clean. Cob webs certaain furniture. House was not aired when we go there. Had to burn incense to get rid of musky smell. Outside seats were not clean. Grass and yard could be more kept. Had encounters with lots cockroaches, one even bite son in bed. House inside needs to be painted and some maintenance needs to be done.
The beddings were clean and there was more than enough seating. Pool was clean and area peaceful

South AfricaI hope they get a backup for electricity, get an iron for the facility and do something about their network. One bathroom shower didn't have a good water way as a result by the time someone is done with taking a bath the bathroom was flooded with water.
I loved the facility it was clean, spacious, safe and comfortable.

South AfricaThe house is not thoroughly cleaned, it has a stuffy smell and spider webs. No Wifi as per the advert, had to spend money to buy data for the kids. If the host can spend more time and money in cleaning and making sure that the house smells nice and fresh. Cover the couch in the patio with something decent and scatter cushions. That kettle needs to go

South AfricaNo water and the property manager could not assist us much in that regard. Upstairs area was dirty and unusable Beddings were stained and unpleasant Pool needed to be maintained before using it
The location is awesome thanks to the beach right across the road. The pool was nice once we cleaned it. House and yard are both very spacious

South AfricaWas very dusty and stuffy and only opened and aired once arrived could have done with cleaning prior to arrival. Grass cutting was been done as we arrived. Pool was extremely dirty all grass cuttings was in the pool. Kids cudnt swim. This was what they were lookin forward to unfortunately they could not swim. The owners was accomadating and tried getting the garden boy to clean but there was no time as it was late Saturday afternoon and we were already checked in. They were certainly not ready for us although paid a week in advance 🙁

location was excellent, very quite and relaxing the views around the area, easy to walk to the beach, i really enjoyed my stay everything was perfect, the bedrooms wow, bathroom its a wow. definitely i will go back for another vacation next year.
