The room was extremely hot. Maybe put an extra fan in. We did buy our own, but maybe put 1 in beforehand or ask the guests when they do book in. The parking is a nightmare. We did leave the car outside, but inside the property maybe they can just mark the parking bay so the other vehicle don't take up the whole space.

Very neat and the swimming pool was a life safer. Friendly hostes. Cutes little heart shape chocolates on the pillows...that was a very nice touch. Love the rusks and the bottled water was also a refreshing extra.

We stayed for 2 nights and their is not a chair, desk/cupboard on which I could put my suitcase so we put it on the floor and it took up walking space

Toilet plan is a no!no! I did not like that the toilet does not have a door and the top is not closed, surely putting a roof and a door will enhance that apartment. Sometimes it also assist to provide both the iron and the board for your guests to utilise as and when they require that service.

Safe and quiet place! Close to food outlets and garages. Charissa is also helpful and friendly!

We attended a wedding at Aux d' Hex estate (5 min drive away), so we literally used our room at Karin's place to crash for the evening. The room was clean and had everything you would need for a short stay.

I think to improve on the experience at House of Perez, install a sensor at the gate when guests use the inside parking. When you travel alone it can get tricky to open the gate, jump in the car and try to exit before the gate closes again :-). Having said that, I asked for assistance from the owner and she gladly assisted me. Also, the room in which I stayed had a fan, but was not working. Luckily it did not bother me too much but knowing that the area can get extremely hot during summer, I suggest to have the fan in a working condition at all times.

This guesthouse was great value for money for my one night stay over. I valued the personal touch in the room. Clearly marked signage to communicate certain things, air freshner in the bathroom as well as a packaged combo of face cotton, ear bud and even a little nail file, sealed with a little heart! Not all guest houses pay attention to these kind of detail and I appreciated that.

A number of uncomfortable little steps that made moving luggage difficult.

Spent 5 nights over Christmas 2022 weekend. Centrally situated in Wellington. Room provided privacy we valued. Owners very friendly and accommodating.

They are located in a very serene place. The hostesses are very friendly. For our three days spent there, we had everything that we needed. I will go back there, given the chance.

Pictures did not reflect reality. The bed was dirty. There were cockroaches inside the room. The toilet has no door, no roof, and is about 2 metres from the bed. The rooms are an extension of the main house.

There was off street parking. It is close to the venue for running races.

The room was musty and dark! Could never leave the door open, nor open blinds - no privacy. Light above wash basin was too poor for hair styling and make up. No hairdryer. No proper door for bathroom. The wall mounted heater was not able to warm up the room. Dogs of neighbours barked constantly. Saturday afternoon during normal afternoon resting time the neighbour was busy mowing his lawn. The motor gate didn't work since arriving. Gate didn't even open the day we had to leave for a wedding. After the stormy night from Saturday to Sunday our room was filled with dirt from the thatched roof: bed, floor, suitcases, toilet, shower, cups... dirty.

Very hospitable hosts. Beautiful garden and lounging area. Can't answer question regarding breakfast...breakfast was advertised (pictures) but never served. The bed was comfortable. Warm water always available. Clean towels and cups.
