Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Ansolutely wonderful stay in gorgeous oasis in Pretoria East. HH is a great launch pad for exploring the capital city. Spotless rooms, modern bathroom and peaceful garden. South AfricaThe breakfast was far below par. I appreciate the chef on site is doing his best but if the food is levelled up, then this place will be amazing. The food really brings it down, breakfast was eggs benedict with cut toast instead of english muffins as a base and the savoury mince had no seasoning or flavour (colour of the mince was close to white). I genuinely enjoyed staying at this place which is why I feel if they can fix the food issue, it would be a force to be reckoned with!
Location was good. Aesthetic of the room was impressive and very fancy with a massive bathroom with a huge tub and a huge shower. It is down the road from Times Square and in a very nice area. The outside of the place is quaint and stylish. The receptionist is very friendly and gives you a remote for the gate and key to the room.

Everything was okay, the hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing. It's very comfortable and in a perfect location. The staff is also very kind and friendly.
