We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaThe food was quite average and the meal I ordered was very small. I would have expected 2 good size chicken breasts for the money. Would have liked filter coffee in the morning not sachets of coffee. The breakfast was served lukewarm. Also more of a variety. But I know they can improve and they have the right attitude to constructive criticism.
The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

South AfricaWe phoned when we were 20 minutes away - as was requested. On arrival there was no signal (due to load shedding) and we could not contact anyone to open the gate. We waited on an hour and a half in scorching heat. Better arrangements need to be put into place. Load shedding and power outages posed a huge challenge to have a cup of coffee early mornings and to cool down the room at night. Solar energy might have solved the problem.
The breakfast was beautifully served. Unfortunately, it is not to everyone’s taste. A menu of where choices are exercised is more acceptable. The game drive was outstanding.

South AfricaIt was lovely playing with the cubs, but I feel R350.00 per person is a bit steep.
We took our own breakfast, but the chef still surprised us with a beautiful cupcake each. The game drive with Dewald was a treat. Playing with the cubs fun. We liked the absolute silence. The beautiful infinity pool. The extreme friendliness of all the staf. Barbara and her team welcoming us with a warm cloth to wipe our hands and a soft drink. We loved the (shared) kitchen with cutlery and a fridge and we loved the fire in the boma in front of our room when we returned from dinner. Humdani does not have a liquor license, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

South AfricaThe place was not tidy, i struggled with my door, the food was not nice, the chef need to improve his skills especially breakfast. The pillows were smelling armpits. And linen were not changed. Shower were not clean, no Shower caps. Rooms were stuffy. I was actually tired of complaining. And pls next time inform us not to come with small cars because your roads are not good at all.. Game drive we changed vehicle twice. We first got stucked and secondly we got a puncture, then we moved to the third car where the driver was driving fast eish. I actually paid lots of money for nothing.

South AfricaWe stayed over the Christmas weekend and disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe how we felt, especially considering the cost of the stay for a family of four. I thought the rooms had been renovated but all seems dated with old furniture; old and cheap crockery. Upon arrival, the service was terrible, and the rooms were not clean!! Beds were hard! The food was terrible; the service was terribly slow; and the TVs and WiFi didn’t work at all!
Lovely pool and views of the mountain. Quiet. The staff did try their best to notch up the service after expressing disappointment.
