Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South Africaload shedding for more then 4 hours, there is no back up. if there is a load shedding there will be water outage as well. swimming pool was dirty, waited for more than an hour for breakfast, supervisor didn’t wait for me to finish my breakfast, to inform me that we have to buy towel and glasses. I would never ever go there ever again and I won’t recommend it to anyone

South AfricaDisaster!! Disaster!! Disaster!! No backup and no water when load-shedding kicks in!! Parking area not managed. Our car was scratched by someone not living there at 02h00am and she promptly drove off!! Noise in the night. Breakfast was burnt cheese griller..eggs drenched in oil!! Dry toast no butter!! Terrible Cappuccino!! Not worth the money we spent!!

And there were no starters no starters or cereals offered as part of the meal We had no water in the shower and toilet in the evening and in the morning when we wanted to bath, this was a turn off. Support came late, as both WhatsApp number and cell number were offline.

The shower had quite alot of mould in the grouting. the pool area a bit run down there seems to have been a restuarant next to the pool but it was closed down. when i arrived there the reception area was unattended ,I mean there was no one at the reception were there to attend the visitor , We spoke to the guy next door , He told us that he is sorry there is no one there. following day we went there again to ask about what is the matter . The receptionist said there is no network to check who supposed to come in and stuff like that. no water, no electricity since Friday . So i wont recommend anyone to go there in future
