Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Well positioned on drive through from Elliot through to Eastern Cape. Good rustic country feel and not commercial. Hots very hospitable and engaging.

The location was quiet and the bed was comfortable, giving us a really good night's sleep. The wifi was very good, which made our lives easier. Overall, the accommodation was all we needed for an overnight stay.

A love view of the mountains and pleasant outdoor area and gardens. Clean sheets but it wasn't the nicest bathrooms and the coffee making facility was not placed by a plug point so you had to boil the kettle in 1 room and carry it through to make beverages

South AfricaAlthough there was a small fridge in the room, we couldnt get it working, although Juan assured us that it did, so perhaps it was just us that couldnt figure it out. We used ice in our cooler box to keep food that we were travelling with cold. Apart from that, nothing else to complain about. It was a wonderful stay.
The beautiful karoo style, family room was lovely and authentic, with good furnishings, big rooms and a fantastic patio. Our hosts Juan and Lisa were wonderful, securing their own pets so that our dog could feel more at home. The food at Intaba Lodge was excellent, as we had both dinner and breakfast. The biggest surprise was the 25% discount that were given upon checkout. Prior to our checkout, we had thought that our accommodation had been a bit overpriced, but the discount made it perfect and affordable. We would definitely recommend this lovely farm accommodation that has amazing views.

South AfricaVery rustic. Really pleasant staff but they were certainly lacking in hospitality training and skills. Smoking in the bar some 5 to 10 feet from the dining area - really not on for non smokers. Plates overloaded instead of using bigger plates. Could not wake the staff at 07h00 for breakfast -eventually roused the person who was sleeping in the lounge on the settee. We decided to forego breakfast. The whole thing as just too relaxed and too little attention to detail. Room was grubby and needed some serious dusting and TLC

South AfricaThe room was filthy, the carpet was stained, blood found on a pillow, worm found on the bed. Minimal toilet paper given, the towels that were there were used already and there was only 1 clean one on the bed, no hand towels were given. The toilet dripped all night. The manager always sleeps on the couch and his clothes and hands were always dirty. Breakfast wasn’t ready for us, no milk provided until we had to ask for it and only a small amount was given when they did find milk. Stale bread for breakfast. All round it was very disappointing as I have stayed there 3 times now and both times has been good. Unfortunately we will not be staying there again

South AfricaIts not value for money..Its good for back packers. The interior decor for me did not impressed my expectation.
Breakfast was so bad as if they were not expecting some guest. It was a cereal no yogurt two eggs and a toast I dont take bacon so I only ate my two eggs and a toast. That was it. no tomato or baked beans just to be filled up.

South AfricaThe mixed grill dinner was absolutely inedible. I would never serve steak like that. Was ice cold as if our of the fridge. Nobody wore masks or sanitised hands or tables. They (staff) and guests smoked in the public rooms. Breakfast was a joke!!! Carpet in the room was filthy.
