There is not much that I can comment about what could be better

The hosts waited up for us to arrive, which ended up being at 20h35, and they kept in touch with us as we were traveling. The venue is a beautifully kept stone home with a well maintained and comfy interior and really pretty garden.

We were 5 adults. The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed . We enjoyed an indoor braai and Jack of the Karoo will definitely be my accommodation of choice next time we are in Sutherland

This property provided everything we needed. Comfortable bedrooms, well stocked kitchen area and really large dining and sitting areas. The stoop and garden at the front of the house were also lovely. The location is great - easy to walk to anything in town, although there is not a lot there but worth a day or two to visit the various star gazing sites. The owner was very helpful. Unfortunately there was no power in Sutherland at all while we were there due to an electrical fault on the power line. The owner let us know asap and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as she could.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was 100% exceptional.

The cottage was very well equipped. It was our home away from home.The whole concept of it being a holiday home is well thought. Loved the open spaces.We have spend one night and when left we wished we could've stayed longer. Love the indoor braai area. And we didn't mind the mozzies. Our 1 night stay was fun.

The house has plenty of space, comfortable seating areas and a well-equipped kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed which our dog enjoyed very much. The host's communication was exceptional.

The wifi - needed to be reset after the long break in power they had and I did not want to do that as I was not sure how it worked. They wi-fi did not work.

Loved the spacious house and all ths amenities, stunning garden. Backup power for lights and wifi during loadshedding and gas stove. Close to the SALT telescope. The host was extremely helpful.

Beautiful large house with a big garden. Electric blankets a bonus for Winter stays! We requested garden chairs so we could sit at the braai area and not just the great shady balcony which were delivered immediately.

My stay at Jack of the Karoo was truly wonderful. The house was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. The stoep was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh Karoo air. The location was perfect, as it was close to all the restaurants and shops in town. The Karoo has some of the darkest skies in the world, and I was able to see more stars than I ever thought possible! I highly recommend this accommodation which is perfect for families!

We were welcomed by the hostess and shown everything in the house which was spotless . In ice cold weather we were able to light a fire and were very comfortable .
