The place is located in a very quiet area, a bit outside town. There's a river running through the property, which makes perfect setting for late afternoon picnics. Pure tranquility, and it's beautiful also. The room was super gorgeous and comfortable. The sunrise through mists in the morning is absolutely breathtaking.

There really is nothing to knock her the place is awesome especially if you drive a vehicle with a bit of ground clearance.

The place is superb really is ideal and just the perfect accommodation for a couple on a short retreat.

I can't think of anything that could be improved on

This place is so amazing. From the location (right outside Clarens but far enough to have wide open spaces) to the little touches that make your stay so special. I wish I could have stayed longer. Johan was there to meet us and was so friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't get to walk down to the river, will definitely do that if (when) we come stay again. Chocolates and welcome drinks, comfy beds, so lovely and quiet, and the garden is so beautiful.

The only issue was having to walk past our neighbors front door and bedroom to get to our front door, but they were friendly and not phased, so all good. I prefer privacy so would insist on a room that people would not need to walk past just to be sure next time.

Everything was great, the cake and the card for my birthday was a pleasant surprise, the details that went into the rooms, the host literally thought of everything from the complementary sherry and rusks, the units were clean, bed was super comfortable and all the amenities were provided. The area is peaceful and private . I would recommend Jovali Clarens to everyone needing some peace and quiet from the city. I didn’t want to come back 😊

Jovali wow! I could not thank you enough for making this special weekend so memorable.  The lengths you went through is incredible.  We left with a full and heavy heart. My heart is full ,because of the marvelous stay. The attention to detail is beyond expectations.   The studio is beautiful,  clean, a very upscale style, and great value. The luxury throughout is deeply appreciated.  The blooming garden and view is enchanting.  My heart is heavy because we had to leave.  Johan thank you for the extra mile, the birthday was celebrated in the most amazing way.  We found a little place of heaven.  Cannot wait to return

It was the most wonderful stay!! Johan and Tim are excellent hosts - they catered for our every need. I loved the amazing attention to detail, from the emaculately kept gardens to the welcoming drinks and devine carrot cake, the cleanliness, super comfy bed and specialy the spectacular views made it worth the drive. The absolute peace and quiet was a balm to our souls!!

The accommodation is located in an amazing area with beautiful views facing directly the mountains. The place is very clean and extremely cozy. The owners made us feel like home, provided recommendations for restaurants, hikes and were very friendly.

The only thing I would have to comment on, is that a wall would be nice between the two patios just to provide a little more privacy from the guests in the studio next door.

All the small extra touches were awesome. The cake and sherry. The bird seed on the patio. The view was beautiful and the room was stunning and had everything we needed.
