Room service or the lack there of. The building was being renovated and the smell of paint was not pleasant.

The aircon in the room was making a noise. The channels on the TV did not meet our taste. Additional plug for Cellphone charge would be nice. Coffee mugs are too small....

The estate is amazing, lush green grounds. I loved the spa. The staff at the spa were really good. The pool area was also amazing and very clean

A few small niggles-nothing too serious-example 3 lightbulbs missing from lamps, door lock facing duckpond had only 1 screw fastening the lock onto the door, so was difficult to lock.

The service at the restaurant was not that good. Especially when we had dinner.

The place was serene. Quite enjoyed the Thermae Facilities. The staff was also friendly and made us feel welcome 😊

The room we had was clean but had a dump smell because of the thatch roof was leaking so the whole night the roof was leaking. Maintenance is needed in the rooms.

Breakfast buffet was amazing, the outdoor pool was the cherry on top. Kingsley restaurant just exceeded my expectations. Their service was amazing. The night we had dinner it was raining and we called reception to organise the golf cart.. Thanks for such a wonderful service.

Honestly enjoyed everything, I went there to relax and the place met my expectations.

The rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms. The shower wasn’t clean, and it’s a terrible shower head. Takes quite a while to get the water temperature right because it’s two separate taps. The bathroom door is see through, so no privacy. The door got stuck 3 times while I was inside, I was unable to open it at all! Luckily my husband was there to assist from the other side.

They Just need to make sure that a few house keeping things are always looked at, our initial room allocated didn't have hot water and we were moved to another room which had a shower drain that was blocked and water was going out from the bathroom. We raised the issue and it was fixed.

The food was amazing, the stuff are very competent. The place is well taken care of and very relaxing

The gardens are well tended but being woken up by a tractor moving the lawn before 8 am is not great. Quite a lot of noisy construction and renovation work being done It took 10 minutes to get a fried egg for breakfast. We were surprised by small aircraft flying overhead and didn’t know there’s a small national airport nearby but we’re not disturbed by this at night

We chose this place because it’s a winery with beautiful cape Dutch buildings and grounds which is situated about an hour away from OR Tambo (JNB international airport). Food and service both great for dinner.

The room was a little worn down, they could do better with the rooms taking into consideration what you pay to stay here.

Absolutely beautiful place only 30 min away from Pretoria! It’s perfect for a small getaway from the city, you feel like you are somewhere else and not in GP! The food was excellent as well, and the property, pools, gardens etc are beautiful, we will definitely come back.
