The soundproofing in the rooms is not particularly good. This time I was under the restaurant and you could hear the tables and chairs being moved around in the early mornings. The windows are single glazed, so you get noise from outside. They have reduced the menu items, which is a shame, as there were some good choices previously.

This was my third stay at the hotel. I was on the ground floor this time and the room was quieter than some of the other rooms I have stayed in. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food options have been reduced, but still a good offering.

Parking was an extra cost , breakfast was average. Pent house bed was short , seemed strange as it's a large room. Bit noisy .

Fantastic location , friendly staff . Pent house room was large with great views .

Rooms a tad small but manageable.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Great Friday evening entertainment. Ideally located to many places of interest and restaurants.

Smell in the room and hotel passages. Room spray is highly recommended. Some noise at night I suspect from the hotel bar. Room is small making it difficult to move around freely. There's room for improvement in terms of the cleanliness of the room.

Pool side, the amazing friendly and warm staff, best breakfast and easily accessible hotel restaurant with great menu for lunch and dinner as well.

The hotel is well situated in central Kloof street, but unfortunately my room was above two very loud bars or restaurants that played very loud music until at least midnight. I had to use ear plugs to block out the noise. I tried to phone reception jy st before midnight to move rooms, but there was no answer. The basement parking garage is very untidy. No security booms at the entrance.

Central location. Good to walk around the city. Good fresh breakfast with a good view of Table Mountain.

    Absolutely nothing

The variety on breakfast, the freshly baked crossaints. The staff made me feel comfortable. The connection on netwok on all floors of the hotel. The potter helped me carry my luggage in and out of the hotel. I got a breakfast pack on the morning of my Two Oceans Marathon. I would definately recommend it to anyone that needs a home away from home. I am sure coming back for the Sanlam Marathon will be staying at Kloof Hotel.

I booked through Bookings Dotcom I was directed to your head office and then directed to the hotel. Check-in was fine. Had to carry my luggage to my room. No problem considering the high price I was charged for. Then got to my room I paid over R2k per night to find a room smaller than my walk-in cupboard at home. Went downstairs and was told that's what they call a pod. I said that's not what bookings Dot Com showed me I was booking. No pod. And Shame on you to charge that for a room so small. Anyway Paid an increase fair to have my room upgraded to a more suitable room that I was originally shown and paid for. Now I'm paying over R3k for one night. And No breakfast included. I stay at a lot of hotels. Never have I experienced this. For the money you charging. Then asked for a lift 2 and from my venue at my function at Crosley and Web. Literally 1.3 km there and 1.3 km back. As it was a gala event and my wife walking in high heels and drinking I didn't want to drive and risk their and back. I was charged by the driver R750 for 3km trip. This is extortion. Because now it's been seen where I was and who I was now I'm overcharged. Absolutely disgraceful. O yes your bar staff are . Wow. Ok... Damn. Need to attend to them or get more training. Also. Seriously. Stock the bar. No coke 0. I'm diabetic. The the prices you charge . This is not a valve for money establishment. I refused to pay your breakfast per head costing . I Left and went over the road and ate there.

My room was not cleaned on my second day. This saddened me. Parking bay's small. I really struggled to park, however, parking area safe access controlled since I was using a hired car.

Despite it being modern and clean, our overall thoughts were it was to corporate with it being used by business people. The room we booked was a suite with city view but what we got was a back street view and builders yard
