South Africa4 reviewsSuperbThe only thing that could be a plus is to put safety gates on sliding doors so you can keep the doors open during a nap without having to worry about Monkeys visiting and/or an aircon. Other than that our stay was perfect & homely
LOVED THE BREAKFAST AND THE LADIES WHO QOEK AND RUN THE VIEWS. WE FELT WELCOMED AND THEY WERE VERY KIND AND HELPFUL.

House is located high above Knysna so that you have an amazing view over the bay. Room has been very spacious. Host has been very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

This is the best fruit art I have seen in any hotel or B+B and she did it differently every morning. Fresh fruit with such a big variety. Full continental breakfast's for each and every guest with a nice cup of coffee, Clean rooms with fresh towels daily, , games to play, books to read, daily laundry service, Sundowners on the lovely stoep overlooking the Knysna Lake in the evenings, seeing the birds going home at night, the lights over the lake at night, the manageress's advice of what to do in the area helped us to get to the Heads view point, the beach, the hiking trail, church on Christmasday etc.

Germany9 reviews“The perfect weekend trip to Knysna.”Knysnaviews is a gem. The lakeview room have an incredible view and the interior is lovely. It has everything you need, including coffee and tea in the room. The room and bathroom is very spacious and especially the bathroom is very modern and practical with shower & tub. It has a huge balcony which is furnished and inviting. We loved that it is petfriendly as well and our pup loved it too. Franz is super nice and caring, really a lovely host. His breakfast is divine and he will take care of all your questions and wishes.

If you are planning to go for a wine dinner you must have at least 1 person to be driving and no drinking. Franz gave us a drive down the centre but walking back up in the darkness of the night is not really viable. So waiting for the only 1 taxi took a bit of time.
We enjoyed everything! Rooms are light and spacious, Franz and Mudge are excellent hosts. Nice views from balconies, towards the hill (garden view) and overlooking the city. Located about 1.5 km up the hill from the centre and quite steep therefore you can see all harbour. Breakfast is very nice! If we didn't have something we could always ask and get it, i.e. wines, water, coke, everything was available.

Breakfast was great. The host cooked for us on request and there were wide options of cereals and fruits available. Lovely location with a view of Knysna and the ocean from a very high vantage point.

Germany22 reviewsGoodKnysna is not a place to travel with dogs. All restaurants in whole Knysna don’t allow dogs. Since the guest house is not self-catering the only way to get food is to order. But there is even no delivery to the guest house. You have to collect it. The guest house is nice but we can’t recommend Knysna for travellers with a dog.
The view was fantastic!
