We were having trouble with DSTV… we tried to reboot as we directed but couldn’t help. That was only thing that disappoint us.

Remote with dead battery, worked twice before it stopped. Waited for response of first call to Monique from maintenence on first day and didn't get 1 regarding remote. We decided to make the most of the holiday as we saw that we wouldn't get any help from the Maintenance people. Key jammed and broke on 1 of the doors and no help was sent, we applied Q20 on second door before we were able to gain access to the braai. Oven don't work 2 of the 4 plate stove not working Carpets are absolutely dirty and dusty, when doors are closed you can smell the carpet. Tiles in need of cleaning. Showers were filthy. No laundry basket. No serving spoons. Downstairs toilet flusher didn't work. Upstairs toilet leaks water on cistern due to rust. Main bedroom bathroom door sticks. Mattress protect on bed don't fit. 2nd bathroom shower head leaks from top and sprays everywhere else. On our fist weekend we experienced roudy neighbors at no. 9, who didn't respect the noise code and times, nothing was done on Friday night to stop that, on Saturday night around 1am they were asked to stop and securities were called in....., I believe that more needs to be done with regards to this kind of issues. This was by far the worst I've experienced with the many times I have booked with Booking.com, the ratings for property was good therefore I expected better. The unit needs more attention in maintaining and cleaning. MY daughter has asthma and she struggled to sleep at night. Necessary items should be available as it a self catering unit. The service I received from just property regarding the booking and collection of keys went well. It's seems that the holes in between getting the keys and returning it needs urgent attention. A holiday is a time to switch off from everyday issues and work but it seems like my holiday was (maak n plan) stressful and the least relaxing I've ever experienced.

The space and location, just property was efficient on their part regarding the booking. Resident at complex were very friendly and helpful.

The DSTV connection. I brought my own decoder but it kept showing me a poor connection error. I called for assistance but only got helped Saturday afternoon. Kids were not happy that they couldn't watch TV for that long. But I was helped at the end so I'm great full

OUR BOOKING WAS POSTPONED DUE TO FLOODS IN THE AREA

The KZN floods happened 2 days before our stay. The booking agency in Uvongo was kind enough to postpone our booking until later this year without any penalty, as it was an act of God. This is excellent service in todays life. Made another booking through Bookings.com in another province for the same dates. Will visit Corona Del Mar later this year.

Watch out for the fine print. There's a lot of it. Check out is at 9am. That's relatively impractical. There's a musty smell that's hard to get rid of if you're there while it's raining. The carpet is a mess. The unit was actually quite old and dirty especially the bathrooms. I found hair that wasn't mine on day 1. I was quite surprised by the condition of the unit considering the huge fuss made by the agents but I suppose it's because it's likely someone's investment property. No proper lighting in the main bathroom. The widows in the dining room are old and broken and there's no note for guests not to use them. I'm pretty sure I'd have been charged for breakage if I didn't manage to close them eventually.

The unit is very spacious. The bedding in the mian bedroom was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality cutlery and crockery. There's a washing machine, dishwasher and very clean fridge. The complex is nice and clean and the pool is well looked after. Ample parking.
