The bedding was luxurious but unfortunately with load shedding the air conditioning was not available through the night and it was a hot summer night. I would have liked to have had a flat sheet available. We did not get the opportunity to use the shower to comment on it due to loadshedding. The loadshedding was not in our hosts control - so it’s not a real negative just a comment.

Great touches such as tea and coffee in the kitchen, milk in the fridge and bath amenities. Quality linen. Spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who went out of their way for us, to return a lost item.

A converted granny flat at the back of a residential house, alongside the R22 near Manguzi. Facilities to cook, and very obliging owners, with a sweet dog. Price is comparable to/more than hotels/B&Bs in the cities (with no breakfast), but there aren't many similar self-catering options out this way that are so comfortable. Good deal!

We really liked the accommodation! Everything you needed was there. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. Attention was paid to every little detail. Erica and Najen were really nice and helped us with everything.

Everythingwas great. We booked a last minute stay and wonderful hosts accommodated us gave us great directions and even waited outside in the rain at night for us to arrive. Being from Canada and not familiar with our surroundings this was greatly appreciated. The place was clean,modern and very comfortable. Absolutely a pleasure meeting Erica and her husband.will definitely book again next time we are in town.

Our stay was perfect! The accommodation was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and the hosts were hospitable. We would highly recommend Kosi Khaya! Will definitely be our regular place to stay in Kosi Bay.

Hot tap water moves from hot to not so hot quickly. Apart from that everything was perfect.

They were very friendly. I arrived very late, they waited and received me with a smile. The unit was clean and very comfortable. There was no breakfast, its self catering.

The host was extremely rude, bad mannered and told us we don't have "class" When we booked she asked us to give her 1 hour to get the room ready and that was in the evening She went into our room in our absence but did not clean it, and took the remote for the aircon without talking to us. That area is very hot by the way. She refused to give us an iron, and simply said she doesn't have one. Loadshedding was a nightmare At first she accused us of stealing her Towels, when we sent her a message to resolve the towel issue while we were still around she didn't respond She then told booking.com that we broke her door & requested R100 payment....we requested for pictures of damages but nothing. She harassed me with calls n whatsapp messages for a payment for the 2nd night we stayed there, even though I offered to pay cash due to very poor network issues. And I confirmed with her that we will be staying another night. We had left our luggage and left for a wedding... On the last day of our stay when I requested for loadshedding schedule, she was already on my case about checking out at 8am in the morning. When I asked for the airxon remote back, I was told it will be sent when the help arrives...which was when we checked out. I've never met such a horrible person in my entire life with no respect at all for her clients.
