A true definition of “living with nature”. A beautiful, quiet, clean lodge with very pleasant hosts and staff. We had an amazing time celebrating my husband’s birthday- with the lodge arranging a private game drive and a romantic candlelight dinner for us!!

Excellent location with very friedly staff, awesome view to the Krueger park. We very much enjoyed the excellent candle light dinner. Super service, we even got our number plate on the renal fixed.

Everything. This place is amazing. The owner, management, and staff were all outstanding. The room we stayed in was meticulous. The food was delicious. What stood out for me were all the little details - the decorations, the food presentation, the table decorations. What a treat this place was!

The bathroom was a bit outdated and the drain in the shower was slow and water pooled in the shower.

The Lodge was very cozy. The biggest plus was the staff, they called us to make sure we are still coming and to confirm the time and waited for us since we were arriving slightly late. They made sure we had some light food, since we were too exhausted to go out for dinner that night.

We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Lodge. Westline and Pieter go way beyond regular hosting with their special care and attention. The staff is perceptive and very polite, accommodating any requests. Freshly cooked breakfast is sumptuous and leaves nothing to wish for. A tasty three course dinner option is available upon request and it was interesting to share the table with other international guests. Wine is included. The room with ensuite bathroom was large and well appointed. A highlight were the free roaming animals (silky monkeys, warthogs, kudus, zebras, mongoose, impala etc) visiting regularly the lodge garden looking for food. The crocodile river is just a few meters away where elephant, hippo and crocodile spotting is exciting and well rewarded. Any bird enthusiast would love that place. To top the service our car was even washed down on the day we left. Highly recommended Lodge.

The location is awesome and the staff ist exceptionally friendly. The breakfast on the veranda in the morning was delicious and made for a great start in the day.

It was a peaceful and quiet retreat! The staff were super helpful. The food was great! They treated us so well. The room was spacious and clean. Feeding the Kudu in the backyard was a highlight. Since our full day safari was at 5:00, the staff woke up early to give us a packed breakfast at 4:30. We are so grateful for their kindness. I am sad that I did not get to use the pool, but will do next time!

Location is a bit hard to find. It's more like a B&B than a hotel which is different from what we expect. Not many restaurants around so you kinda have to eat there for $20 per dinner. The vibe is a bit like the movie "Get out".

The room and lodge decor is very cute and nice. The bed is comfy with powerful AC. The common areas are amazing as you got the pool, dining area and very large 2nd floor balcony to see the riverside.

I loved how Westline welcomed me and my family. She was a call away when we needed anything. The Kruger game drive was amazing . I mostly loved our balcony and the views we had when we had our wonderful breakfast .
