The geyser malfunctioned, hence we had no hot water on Friday and part of Saturday. The plumber was sent out on Saturday morning and all was eventually sorted. This set our whole schedule off as none of us could shower on Friday or Saturday morning. Hence we could not do all planned activities and we had to vacate by 11 on Sunday. Some of the appliances could be upgraded.

There was nothing we didn't like. The villa was perfect. I just wish we had more time to stay longer. Definitely a villa worth the money.

The villa was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable family get away. Everyone had their own space as each of the four bedrooms had their own on suite bathrooms. This was a huge plus for all of us as it gave everyone their own privacy and space. The beds we super comfy and the views from the villa were beautiful. We also had access to WiFi and Netflix which was lovely. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would book this villa again.

Nothing but If I had to be picky, the outside seating area cushions could probably have been cleaner.

Loved absolutely everything from the moment of setting foot in this beautiful Villa. 4 modern bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Breathtaking views of The Estuary and the Ocean in the distance. The host was extremely gracious and allowed early check-in from 12:00 on Friday and a late check-out up to 14:00 on the Sunday. Loved the beach access and the hotel facilities that could also be accessed by means of a short walk. Also worth mentioning that the outdoor braai area and seating area was comfortable and airy. Lots of space for the kids to explore. Loved the touches of making family board games available in the Villa.

I would have enjoyed a bit more flexibility with regard to services such as cleaning. Could only request the day prior. The restaurant quality food isn’t great.

the only issue was indirectly related and that was power outages due to loadshedding. equipping the villa with a generator to inverter would have made the stay even more pleasant

Large villa, very spacious, each of the 4 rooms fully equipped with en-suite allowing for privacy. villa well located with breathtaking ocean views. the owner was kind enough to allow for early check-in and also extended our check out time to late afternoon. this was greatly appreciated

Cutlery and pots were not enough for 8 people , villa should be stocked according to the people it accommodates.

Gerard is the owner of Villa 43 at the estuary, what a pleasant person do deal with. He had been keeping in contact with me to ensure all went well. He even did a courtesy call the day we arrived to ensure we were able to find the property and got in on time. This is service excellence. The villa was beyond stunning and worth every penny spent.

Unfortunately there was a few things i was dissapointed with. The door in one of the bedrooms is broken off the hinges, shower and toilet was dirty.

Everything was perfect, Location and comfort. My guests and i enjoyed our stay.
