We stayed at L’Auberge to be close to visit friends in the area.. it’s lovely and quiet. A rustic country feel with birds and trees .. the cottage was very comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. The bed had good linen and there was a lovely wooden deck outside . We were there only one night but could’ve stayed longer!

We loved everything.

Amazing stay! So secluded and yet it has modern comforts. It is almost like glamping! We staid in one of the smaller rooms. Tania our host was so attentive to our needs. We took some extra battery operated lights for loadshedding and some bug spray for those lovely sunset evenings outside. The room had a few great essentials like basic utensils, a lovely fan, towels, basic toiletries, coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. The outside communal kitchen has a gas stove which was perfect for loadshedding coffee time. The shower was lovely and definitely had enough light. There are little windows above the normal windows without curtains, but we wore eye masks which worked great! We will definitely be back!

Nothing to complain about.

My wife and I came here for a quiet retreat before we crossed over into the new year. Our host was very accommodating - They called to follow up on our arrival time and were prompt to open the gate upon our arrival. The venue is a few minutes (25 odd minutes from Summerstrand / Airport ). Well located should you still want to go meet up with friends in the area or do some shopping. Word to the wise - - Try keep driving to a minimum as it can get misty at night. Everything was perfect, the house was clean, well sized. On the property there is also a large Lapa with a kitchen and a Boma (Fire pit). Perfect get-away to reconnect as a couple as it allows for uninterrupted conversations right in the middle of nature. The lily pond was gorgeous - sure do wish it was a pool instead :-). Breathtaking beauty. An absolute gem of note ! We surely will be visiting again. 10/10.

The shower is pretty dark - luckily we brought a rechargeable clip on light, so we used that for more light. The windows at the top have no blinds or curtains, so we were unfortunately woken by the sun much earlier than we wanted. It would also be nice if there were cleaning things to do the dishes.

The location was awesome and it was so peaceful to have breakfast out on the deck, tucked in the trees and listening to the birds.

Just the overall experience. The scenery was beautiful, and the people were friendly. Me and my boyfriend will definitely go again.

We were a little disappointed that when we arrived on Friday at 2pm the room was only then being cleaned. We then had to leave all our things in a room we knew was still being cleaned.

We loved the scenery and the absolute removal from town while knowing we were still close. Also loved the special touch to our wedding night and morning of wedding! So special and thoughtful.

The setting of this place is fantastic being in nature and so close to everything at the same time. Tania is an amazing host and we really enjoyed the lapa/braai area. All in all, just a wonderful eperience.
