Lovely breakfast wonderful selection of fresh fruit .Superb views of the magnificent garden and surrounding mountains of Franschhoek. Helpful and attentive staff nothing was too much trouble. Lisa and her staff made us feel very welcome as always.

The location was central and extremely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast area overlooked the mountains. Staff were extremely helpful and hardworking. The staff and the view really made this a memorable stay. Rooms are lovely and also very clean. Our room had double doors that went into the garden.

Just the weather! The accommodation made up for it as the room was so cosy.

The room with is wonderful garden and mountain view was superb. It was a shame the weather want good so we couldn't use the pool and outside seating.

What a beautiful place to stay! The room was lovely and spacious and the gardens and views are absolutely stunning! The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was perfect. Nice swimming pools too and you can walk into town during the day. Ubers also easily available. Excellent location.

Lisa and the team hosted us for two nights at their stunning guest house and we had such a lovely time. Great location - only a short walk from the town, and beautiful gardens with mountain views. Even when fully booked, the guest house feels so quiet and peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves whenever we wanted to use it. A very relaxing stay and perfect for anyone enjoying the wine region!

Peaceful property just outside busy tourist town. Oasis escape with stunning views. 2 swimming pools and lovely gardens. Delicious breakfast. Rooms are spacious with private balconies.

The room was a little bit tired in places. Nothing major.

The lovely garden and the mountains that surround this property are incredible. The pools are a fair size and the breakfast is really good. I really liked the fact it was so peaceful out in the garden and you could hear the wind whirling around and the birds singing. Perfect on a summers day. The location was great and the property is incredibly well managed by the lovely Lisa. It was a pleasure having a chat with her each day.

Lisa and her excellent team once again looked after us with kindness, good humour and great hospitality. We were delighted to have the private pool, which was unexpected pleasure. La Cabriere really is a gem, and the situation spellbinding.

The photos on this page do not do this place justice! The honeymoon suite was absolutely fantastic. The private pool (THREE pools in total) was a lovely touch and something we weren’t expecting. Unbelievably clean, fantastic location, about a 10-15 minute walk into town which is safe to do during the day. So calm and peaceful, beautiful gardens and surroundings. Lisa was incredibly helpful and was always available for any queries.

The view can be even better when the construction in the garden is finished

the location is perfect. It is close to the city center of Franschoek. You can easily walk to the center during the day. The people are also very friendly, and we really appreciated the extra service because of our late checkin and the support after we forgot one of our jackets in the room. We will definitely come back!
