Our stay was fabulous. Beautifully and stylishly furnished. Loved the style and decor. Wish we could have stayed longer! Beds very comfy. Went for a lovely walk around the property before going out to our dinner. A very special stay ;) we also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast!

The location is superb-akin to a hidden gem. The Orchard cottage felt like home away from home. The gardens are beautiful. The staff and management are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and Lunch offerings, are simple, fresh, tasty and well presented.

The accommodation was very comfortable - lots of thoughtful touches to help travellers. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was excellent! Location was within easy walking distance of the town.

We had some ants in one of the bathrooms. Pool was a little cold and wish it was heated. The weather was hot but extremely windy when we stayed, we would’ve loved to use it more.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was exceptional; clean, lovely interior, full kitchen, comfortable beds. The cottage, terrace and pool felt safe and private. Parking was right next to our cottage. We stayed with 2 little kids and really felt like it was a home away from home. Cot bed and high chair were provided for us. Great location, centre of Franschhoek and the wine tram terminal was only a 10 minute walk but also lots of vineyards nearby. Beautiful grounds and views all around. Delicious breakfast. We received outstanding service from all staff.

La Cotte never disappoints us. We often stay there. Situated right in the town making it easy to get around. Amazing accommodation and super safe as well.

The thoughtful design of the main house is very very slowly getting deteriorated by the addition of objects that came there organically while using. If the owner and team want to keep La Cotte at the superior level it is now, then attention to detail will continue to be required here.

La Cotte Farm is situated very close to the center of Franschhoek and yet feels like a place in the middle of nature. Calm, clean, and with breathtaking views if the Franschhoek valley and mountains.

The gorgeous curtains in the bedrooms let in a lot of light so we didn't get much sleep despite how comfy the beds were. La Cotte, please add a blackout lining to them and a bit if wood to encase them at the top and the rooms will be perfect and dark for sleeping without compromising on your stunning interiors!

Absolutely stunning - both the scenery /views and the cottage itself. The interior design is spot on, the bathrooms so luxurious, and the beds so so comfy. Bed linen and towels were exceptional. Great kitchen facilities and bbq facilities too - the fact a bag of charcoal is included is a lovely touch!
