Gorgeous property surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards and vineyards, water, and a nature reserve. Property was about a 12 minutes drive into Franschhoek town, restaurants, and vineyards. What stood out was Tim’s exceptional hospitality. He was so helpful in planning our stay, making recommendations, making reservations, etc. He even helped us find and book a reservation at our next stop. Thanks, Tim! Would definitely come here again to rest and relax!

Beautiful setting - secluded, in the trees and next to a river. Well equipped property including indoor and outdoor cooking and eating. Excellent set up for kids/family with playground and lots of space. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Amazing setting with river, mountains, fishing lake and wildlife, yet only 10-15 mins drive from Franschhoek for restaurants / supermarkets. Christopher was very helpful and gave my son a very memorable first fishing experience!

The cabin is not suited to host three guests. Perhaps a child and two adults, but the sleeper couch is not nearly large enough or comfortable enough to accommodate an adult. For the price of the unit, this was very disappointing and I would not recommend renting this cabin for three, only two people. It should not be advertised for more than two people.

Tim was such a wonderful host. He kindly gave us restaurant meal recommendations and then booked them for us as well as providing us with taxi transfers to the surrounding areas. A wonderful place in a beautiful setting.

We loved it! A bit off the grid but exactly what we needed after Cape Town. The cottage was well equipped and the owner, Tim, was just the best. Super responsive and helpful with Transport, Info , etc. If you look for a place to relax and explore the area but still want to be away from the trouble, La Ferme is perfect

Lovely place to stay! So calm and quiet, in the middle of the wonderful nature, yet not far from Paarl and Franschoek. The farm itself is so cute, and the house the most charming “tree-house”. Everything was truly great during our stay! Can only warmly recommend it.

Beautiful cottages at a riverside close to the nature reserve. Still very close to the beautiful village of Franschhoek with its restaurants, shops and coffee shops. Its like spending time in the back country in the middle of nature and in 5 minutes you're in the heart of a beautiful vibrant village. The cottages are well equipped, spaced out for privacy, quiet, romantic, comfortable. We will be back soon!

We had 4 amazing days and we are definitely coming back in the future. The house was very spacious and close to a small mountain river, which we bathed in when it was hot outside, it was perfect! You can really find peace and are not disturbed by anything. We slept so good during the night, the bed was amazing and the aircons were lovely during the hottest days. We cooked breakfast in the morning, had a braai.. and the service/communication was excellent. It was just perfect!Thanks for everything Tim!
