We loved everything! Our room was amazing, breakfast with lovely fresh fruit, savoury and sweet choices as well as cooked to order eggs etc. Natasha and Devon so warm and welcoming, looking after your every need. We couldn’t have hoped for better.

There is nothing that I can fault.

The breakfast was superb. The wide range of choices were delicious and all the produce and baked goods on offer were beautifully fresh. The coffee was great and the real fresh fruit juice was a great compliment to the breakfast. The eggs benedict were cooked to perfection (to dream of!) and beautifully presented. The friendly staff were very attentive.

We absolutely loved it in Hermanus. The guest house is located right at the sea. If we would have known how wonderful it is there, we would have booked for longer. The rooms were lovely and the stuff amazing. We‘ll definitely come back!

No complaints aside the weather could have been better!

Very friendly staff and wonderful suite with lounge and patio garden. Very comfortable and convenient for Hermanus town. It's more a period than contemporary style guest house but with all modern conveniences and clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location. Outstanding views over the sea. Great hosts. Delicious breakfast.. we were spoilt. Very comfortable accommodation, tastefully decorated. Lots of nice touches like complimentary fruit, other treats and sherry in the communal lounge. Breathtaking!!

Really nothing I'd change, I watched a game of football and my team lost while staying there but it would be unfair to blame the accommodation....

Owner was fantastic, really friendly and helpful Is a lovely place to stay in a fantastic part of SA....views were wonderful and really couldnt fault the accomodation....we had the honeymoon suite with balcony and it was great!

Great location with fabulous view and an easy walk into the centre of town. We had a very pretty room with a lovely balcony which unfortunately we couldn’t use because of the weather. Secure parking and staff who were very welcoming and helpful made our stay perfect.

Perfect location for restaurants and shopping as well as safe parking and easy road access to the beautiful surrounding areas.. Natasha, Devon and their staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room with plenty of storage space. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay and would recommend La Fontaine to anyone visiting Hermanus. Oh, and terrific breakfasts!

Minor: Bed was ok, but it fantastic

Exceptionally friendly hosts Natascha and Devon. Great breakfast with multiple fresh fruits, egg choices, fresh yoghurts and cereals. All blessed by a great ocean view. Welcome mini bar in room, airco properly working for hot days, little things taken care of and deliciously smelling fynbos soap & lotion. Gated parking at the guesthouse, a few minutes walking from the center.

The stay was actually so nice, it's hard to name anything that didn't meet our expectations.

Perfect location, close to the center, restaurants and the promenade. If you choose the right room you get an amazing view over the bay. Rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is fresh and tasty. You can park you car at the property, which also makes it much easier.

It was even better than what I imagined it to be. Definitely the WOW factor when you arrive with the view, warm welcome from Natasha, to the comforts of the rooms and house to the central location. Not to mention the service and warmth from Arlene!
