We loved our serene and stylish room at La Terra de Luc. We only stayed for one night, but next time we'll stay for longer. It's the perfect relaxing hideaway, super close to town, to explore the restaurants and the Franschhoek area. The beautiful, big trees and the lakes on the property made it super special.

The door was difficult to open, the shower flooded. There is ample cupboard space but no hangers at all.

We felt safe and secure. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, good AC and lots of hot water. Thank you for the beautiful flowers!

I know it is impossible, but a kitchen would have been lovey among all of us. The coffee brand should be changed. For such a lovely estate, this brand is not good. Good coffee and wine goes together and this coffee in the green bag has NO taste, even after you put 2 sachets in and let it brew. We eventually bought our own coffee.

It is situated on a farm estate amidst the most beautiful mountains, dam and fields. The family and friends could in the mornings early and evenings have casual sessions of visiting-relaxing outside on the verandah and lawn, drinking and eating. Kids could play around safely and cars and trailer were secured and safe. We were about 14 staying on this property. The owners and workers are extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The view is spectacular and the facility and room was gorgeous. The location is amazing. Highly recommend to any traveller. Really loved our stay here. Staff brought us a wine opener and an adaptor and were wonderful.

The receptionist could've been friendlier. We wanted to drop our bags but didn't make prior arrangements and it wasn't really a huge issue, they were able to assist us but she could've been nicer. Security was nice and friendly, thank goodness. Also, if you need an uber, you'll need to walk all the way to the gate to open it which is a bit of a walk.

The rooms were beautiful and comfy. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The place is super peaceful and tranquil. It was also convenient to get around from the location.

The DSTV did not work. The woman in the office was very unfriendly and borderline rude. One of our guests arrived at around 14:30...pressed 1 and a voice said "we are closed "....they rang again and managed to explain that they were checking in. I had an incident with her about a month ago....and followed up with an email. No response. Not sure why the review shows as from Julyette. I did the bookings (Shireen)

The rooms were so clean and the staff were right there when we needed anything. I came here with my bridal party and family and they all loved it! Thank you La Terra de Luc! The best man accidentally took the key to their room and had to drop it later and the staff were so forgiving and understanding about this.

No milk for coffee in the morning, while the coffee itself left a lot to be desired. The check-in was a little bumpy as the intercom did not work at the second gate.

The bed was super comfy, and the place quiet. The surrounding areas are stunning, yet you are five minutes from the main shopping area. Large, comfortable room, and excellent WIFI.

The self catering cutlery was not sufficient ie no sharp knife, no cutting board, no preparation service need to use bathroom basins. The lounge had a low powered microwave that was awkwardly placed near the floor - so self catering is difficult. Also no matches for the candles - best bring your own.

It was quiet and private yet very close to Franschoek, secure space to walk with great scenery - left alone to get on with things. Daily room cleaning service good and prompt. Private from fellow guests.

The details about what to do when we checked out was not provided. We drove around looking for the office. Eventually found another guest who gave us a office contact number.

Beautiful view, but I didn’t like that I didn’t have privacy on the patio when sitting outside. I think there should be trellises or something to give more privacy.
