The ants. Some rooms had ant's infestation in the bathrooms. Room 10 & unit 12 to be specific. Also, room 10 needs a better door lock because that small padlock was not giving. It left a gap on the door and the couple that was in the room did not feel comfortable with that.

Breakfast was very good, well prepared and nice portion sizes. Liked the location, the look & feel of the place. Liked the vintage look of the building, with the modern twist inside the rooms.

I surely recommend the place. As a solo cyclist I do appreciate some confort. Not from Ladybrand town and everything you can think you need.

The beda were very hard- not comfortable at all. The kettle gave off a terrible taste - coffee undrinkable No water pressure / warm water during Loadshedding- but not the property’s fault.

We didn’t discover where is the switch of the hallway, and it was so dark. The bathroom is a few cold.

We were supposed to stay at a small house, but, as the Wi-Fi didn’t work there, we stayed in the main house. The apartment there is comfy, with 2 big rooms and big kitchen. It was a few dark in the hallway and in the living room, what turns the places a few scaring at the night.

Stunning property. Beautifully decorated. Really liked the consideration given to load shedding and steps taken to ensure that there was alternative lighting and wifi. Breakfast wasn't good for me, but my husband said his was fine. All told a good stay, though, for an overnight stop.

We stayed for 4 days as we were attending a wedding in a nearby farm. Additional cupboard space in the room would have been great to allow us to fully unpack.

The honesty bar and lounge is a great place to chill. The owner also went out of his way to get DSTV into our room. All rooms are already fully enabled with Netflix.

This is such a *fantastic* place to stay. I was blown away, and so so glad that I made this my choice in Ladybrand. I arrived later in the evening, and just as I was walking up the steps, the front door opened to welcome me. The room had been warmed up for me, with some nice chocolate on the bed. The staff/manager was friendly and welcoming. The room itself is so well made up. Everything works well, and is good quality. The grounds themselves are very nice and tranquil, and the breakfast is good. The honesty bar is a nice touch. I absolutely recommend this place.

Loved the look and situation of the property. Renovations to the interior have been thoughtful with regards to the history of the house, leaving some of the old visible. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. Great food. Hosts are friendly and welcoming.
