the breakfast had no cheese (although several Cheeseries around) no cold Meat, no Bread-Rolls, no other Bread, no danish, no warm Food except eggs and beacon, only on last day we had fruit- salad, the breakfast was a barren afair.

Rooms and facilities need an upgrade. Carpets are old and over used. Furniture, beds, curtains and styling very dated. It was a booking.Com excellence award in 2014 - nearly 10 years ago and it’s still on the wall - sadly it’s not that any longer.

Location, heritage building, friendly and had the facilities we needed including a bath and hair dryer as requested after a long hike.

Absolutely nothing

Location was perfect. Close enough to the center of town to walk, but far enough to not be be relaxing in a calm beautiful environment

Breakfast was okay, but far from perfect.

On arrival, we had to figure out how to get the keys, there was no note no nothing. Bruce that we thought would welcome us is not alive any more. We were hoping to get some insides and information about Clarens from Bruce or somebody that feels responsible, but we never get to see somebody that was acting as a host.

the position of the guest house is great, with a good breakfast. beds were comfortable with electric blanket for warmth.

The wifi has very bad connectivity and you can only use it when at reception.

The breakfast was great. The staff was amazing and even washed our cars for free. Not too far from the center. It's next to a restaurant.

The location is perfect, can walk into the village. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You park your car in front of the guest house and there was a security guard looking after the cars at night. Lovely room and the breakfast was great!

Our room door was 2 metres from the closest table in the dining area, pleanty of foot traffic noise and staff prepping for breakfast.

There were only 2 rusks and rooibos teas provided for the week, which didn't appear to be topped up throughout the stay, and there was no microwave in the room to heat up food for lunch etc. But the place was honestly beyond what we expected! So overall a fantastic experience.

The fact that laundry is included as well as a car wash. The fact that the place was close to Clarens square.

I was 'welcomed' by one of the cleaners/kitchen ladies- the manager was not there despite having let them know my check in time. The unit is in bad need of an upgrade- the bath has limescale, some of the lightfittings are missing and others are filthy. The fridge is tiny and kitchen area is cramped. The plug point that is advertised as being next to the bed is a multiplug under the bed that requires acrobatics to get it. It's such a pity as with some tlc this could be a stunning place.

The view from the garden is absolutely gorgeous.

Lovely guesthouse. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff and host. Walking distance to the square as well as to cx extreme adventures (zipline, rafting) so very well located with a stunning view Breakfast really delicious and filling, highly recommended, we will be back.

The rooms. That we were in are very old and the bathroom Def needs a upgrate. Doesn't think it's the worth the money that we paid

When we arrived we were booked into the wrong room. So luckily someone came to assist us to move to the other room. After we drove nearly 370km and just relax we were told we are in the wrong room That was a anticlimacs. Don't know if it's all the same price. They could inform use about loadshedding. The personnel was super and the breakfast. Did order some take away salad from the restaurant. There was no salt or Saladdressing with.
