We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaThe staff in the restaurant and reception area in the restaurant were not friendly or helpful and asking for a coffee in the morning, even though the restaurant was open, felt like an imposition. Staff ignored us, played on their phones and made us feel totally unwelcome, even what we assumed to be the manageress on duty failed to greet us or even acknowledge us.... We will definately stay at the lodge but now know not to expect anything from the restaurant.
The room was amazing and comfortable and the staff in reception were so friendly, accommodating and helpful.

A beautiful, quiet and peaceful lodge close to shops and restaurants in Dulstroom. The rooms are spacious, super clean and modern.

The unit is absolutely beautiful, such thought and care have gone into making sure your stay is special. The owners have provided you with everything you might need - it’s clean, modern and beautiful. It is walking distance to all Dullstroom has to offer, and the unit itself is situated right on the water - a perfect spot to sit and drink your morning coffee with the ducks and birds. We didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be back.

United StatesWe did not realize the room had no heat. Dullstrom gets damp and cold in the evenings. We were provided a small clump of firewood for the fireplace but it was gone in an hour and the room remained uncomfortably cold. Apparently there were more logs available to purchase but by the time we realized the situation (fairly early in the evening) the front desk had closed up entirely and we could find no one in the fenced-in area to help. Also, the bathroom had a very bad smell which was covered up with very strong perfume air fresheners. So while we had a wonderful sleep it was a little hard to enjoy the room or the fancy tub in the bathroom.
Lovely room, beautiful grounds. The bed was extremely comfortable, the couches and chairs were nice, lovely seating area just outside, coffee service had some nice amenities, it was quite cozy. Secure parking.
