We stayed at Lavender Manor in Hermanus for four days and were very satisfied. The rooms were well-appointed and the service was excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city, close to good restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was tasty and varied. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Perfect location, great breakfast, very comfortable beds and pillows and very kind host. We loved the common room with large terrace and bar. The proximity to the beach, and to the sea path where we enjoyed the most beautiful sights despite a rainy weather.

Great hosts, safe and secure neighbourhood, perfect for beach and within easy walking distance. Fabulous restaurant nearby and actually on the beach. Clean and comfortable room close to the wonderful town of Humanus. Great breakfasts. Really nice and friendly atmosphere. A MUST STAY!!

The pool is small, poorly located and in our opinion tired.

The location is excellent for a beach holiday. The room no 7 was large stylish and well equipped. The staff and owners were wonderful could do enough to make our stay comfortable. Even providing jump leads start for my flat battery. Many thanks.

nothing the only thing is that contary to 2023 we had no climatisation in our room but it was bearable otherwise it was perfect

it was our second stay in this hotel after 2023 and the hotel is still fantastic very near from grotto beach in hermanus the staff and managers are also very friendly. rooms are big and very clan and the breakfast is also very good we will be back

An exceptional guest house. Our room was stunning with fabulous view of the mountain and super comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious. The whole ambience and decor of the guesthouse is beautiful. Would definitely go back if visiting that area.

Position of the property very convenient for access to promenade. Kobus and Marelize (owners/operators) are the most personable and engaging hosts, with no request being too much trouble. I recommend this establishment to any Hermanus visitor.

A beautiful manor with very welcoming hosts. We spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning here at the lodge and it was super cosy! It’s in a great location, right up from the street but also has stunning views of the mountains. The room was extremely spacious and everything we needed for a stay! We really enjoyed our stay :)

Clean and spacey. Had a Familiy-Room with two single beds and one double bed. Owners are very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was delicious. 5 minute walk to the beach and a very good restaurant.

- The entrance to the parking lot is very narrow. You need to pay attention while entering. We scratched our car on a metal thing while entering unfortunately…

- The place was very clean - It was very close to beach - We received complementary water (both still and sparkling) - The breakfast was delicious - We were able to spot whales from the roof top :) - The staff was very friendly and nice to us In total an absolutely recommendable place!
