Nothing not to like...

Was only 1 night during business as our plans had changed. Location was great, and only short stop into town, but nicely away within the game area and very quiet. The coded gate for entry to the park was sent via a message every morning for the code being changed which added a reassurance to the security. Staff were very friendly.

The bathtub plug didn't seal properly, so the water level slowly dropped whilst taking a bath. We also couldn't get the sliding door leading to the outside shower to open at all (extremely difficult to move). Also, we had some issues with our air conditioner and couldn't run it for very long before water started streaming down from the air conditioning unit. This was quite disappointing. Lastly, I would actually have preferred if you were able to make food inside your unit. Unfortunately the kitchen area, the pool side area and the braai area is communal, which isn't always a bad thing, however some people want to get away and have total privacy for the duration of their stay.

The location was excellent, far away from town and right in the middle of the bush as we wanted. The dinners made by Gateko was AMAZING!! Also, the bathtub is simply out of this world, you have x2 perpendicular windows surrounding the bathtub looking out into nature, and the animals walk right up to your unit. Seeing this while sitting in a bubble bath is unmatched!

I loved the game drive and the guide really excellent but honestly, R950 is way, way overpriced.

There was some confusion on my check in but it was fixed quickly.

I liked the fact that it is inside a reserve with animals (not the big 5 though) walking around freely. The facilities and personalized service was also very good.

Sometimes we are not there as group and we would like to watch tv as a couple in our room and bond 2. It's full of insects and the doom they provided was not enough

I enjoyed the outside shower and the spa bath, and the view from the pool was so beautiful, I even saw two animals fighting(I forgot the name of the animal but they had horns) and later in the evening we played board games with the kids at the property,I really enjoyed staying here.

Telephone reception! Everyone uses WhatsApp. Wifi as good and available in lodge bedrooms.

I can happily recommend this lodge to anyone thinking of staying in the location. Our room was delightful. Bed - large and so comfortable. Breakfast was charged at an optional R150pp and was excellent. We enjoyed dinner twice at an optional R300pp - very good. We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy. The lodge organised 2 trips for us (discounted) and both were excellent. Location is great and surprising amount of wildlife on the estate - Kudu, Zebra, Giraffe, Waterbuck and Impala.

The member of staff seemed very uninterested - on her phone the whole time we tried engaging with her. Any possibility of dinner was very confusing of if it was possible to ask her or not, so we just ended up going out.

Lovely surroundings with plenty of animals to spot. Even saw a leopard! Room was very big size.
