There was ants in the one main bedroom with en-suite that we were not aware of till the evening when I was woken up by them biting me during the evening. I moved rooms and informed the host the next morning. She did offer to bring something to spray but I said its ok I moved rooms. The ants were in the lounge as well in the evening and walking on us and the furniture. Beds were not comfy.

Easy access to property and host never arrived but clear instructions sent via Whatsapp on the date of arrival to collect keys etc. Lovely swimming pool, lovely gardens and great house. Loved being woken up by birds in the morning. Very secure and plenty parking.

The layout, cleanliness, facilities and amenities are very well maintained and presented and a very great getaway with friends for a weekend. The proximity from town is also great for those inclined to explore or stay in and enjoy the friends company.

We had a very enjoyable stay. More than enough secure parking space. Nice fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. They made special arrangements to provide drinkable water. The only downside was the brown water in the taps but this was on the municipality and not the guest house.

The kitchen was a lil stuffy but when we arrived, I think the windows needed to be opened before we arrived for fresh air.

The house was lovely the bedrooms were fresh and clean very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked up with cutlery, glassware, dishes, pots and pans. The host communicated efficiently regarding loadshedding schedule, we appreciated that a lot.

There was loads of space and we were able to do some washing. Lielies Guesthouse thought of everything so the stay was not only aesthetically pleasing but also very practical.

Location was amazing, perfect space for a family getaway. Nice to kick off your shoes and relax with a beautiful fine place. Sad that it was a bit cold to enjoy the outdoor, but will be back for the pool!

Main bedroom bed mattress old, we sunk in as we lied down. Bed super squeaky - very uncomfortable. No towel hook in the bathroom (only in the main room). No instruction on how to utilise the house alarm if needed . No information on what is happening / where to go when visiting Paris.

Beautiful home away from home, very well equipped with everything you might need. The decor is stunning with perfect layout of the house . Back up lights and gas facilities for the stove and geyser so load shedding did not affect us much. Clean bedding / towels .

Absolutely everything was top notch. The house is extremely well equipped, comfortable, verging on the luxurious and very tastefully furnished. The pool was so welcome on a scorching summer's afternoon. There are plenty of outdoor chairs and tables for lounging and eating. Communication with the host was immediate, efficient, friendly and helpful. I have recommended the house to friends and would love to return myself. It really is a brilliant as I have suggested it is!
