Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

The room was great, but the problem is that when you take a shower the water gets spilled all over the bathroom. And that is very messy because there was no mop there, the bed was very comfortable.

This was such a happy find! The room was clean with a huge, very comfortable bed and a steaming hot shower. There was a beautiful pool that I sadly didn’t have time to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage at the counter while I ran some errands after checkout. If I’m ever in linden again, I will return to this guesthouse!

South AfricaThe only inconvenience was the shower being a bit dated and difficult to keep a constant temperature with the hot water seeming to come and go while showering. The bathroom could use an update with a single shower mixer tap instead 2 seperate hot and cold water taps. The toilet needs a toilet role holder and the bathroom needs a towel holder for showering.
The stay was comfortable, the room was perfect for me needs with a chair and desk, comfortable bed, nice bar fridge, a much needed standing fan and some lighting that still worked during power outage. The staff was very friendly overall.

LesothoThe toilet paper that was used was a 1-ply tissue which is not the quality that I see in most places that I visit. There was no complimentary toothpaste, which I didn't understand why as there were shampoos and body lotion provided.
The room was well prepared with a fan for the heat of the summer. The food was amazing, and the service from the staff was exceptional as they went above and beyond to make my stay there as home-like as possible

South AfricaThe first thing I did not like was the problem my room faced when it was raining. My boyfriend and I took a nap, and we woke up to water next to the bed. It was rainwater, but we could not tell how it got in. The windows were closed, and the roof had no leaks. Luckily, nothing broke or got destroyed. The second thing I didn't like was that they do not have champagne glasses. They have tumbler glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses, and plates, but no champagne glasses.
I love how I got there, and the pictures matched what I saw. What you see in the pictures is what you will find. The second thing I liked was that the staff is very friendly, they even offer room service if you're staying for more than one night. I must also add that they have an entire kitchen where you can cook and prepare your food, and they have a braai stand too! I'd definitely visit again!

South AfricaIt was my second time visiting, initially everything was perfect but when i came the 2nd time it was a mess we had to wait few minutes for the room to be cleaned in room 6 , it was hot as hell and you guys don’t have generators so when there is no power obviously the fans won’t work and it becomes difficult to sleep . And also the room was full of mosquitoes everywhere, it was really bad! But other than that everything was fine. Consider buying generators and also dooms inside the rooms since it’s summer
