Be aware that the road to the cottages is quite bumpy, but thats not the hostess' fault. Dont trust Google Maps with the cottages' location as it leads you to the neighboring building. There's no internet connection aside from the Wifi, which is also not the hostess' fault. The bedroom's light did not work, but there was a little lamp that did.

Great location with a nice view to the water. The cottage was quite big. The kitchen was fully equipped . Late check in was no problem. The dogs were very friendly. The hostess was quick to respond to our requests.

Isolated location, with nice views, lovely to hear the waves all night. Comfortable room, set up for self-catering, though, not as a hotel. Room smells musty from the damp, but that’s the joy of being by the ocean. I was the only one here, so I got to enjoy the solitude and sit up at night watching the storm, but there are 8 units crammed together in a very small space, so I think it would be crowded and noisy here in peak season. The house is at an isolated location, accessed via a muddy dirt road. No facilities so if you need so much as a pinch of salt you have to take a 45-minute round trip to town. It is self-catering, and they mean it – not even a packet of coffee is provided, which makes waking up here a real bummer if you’re just passing through. I asked for a cup of milk and my request was refused, so hospitality is not a thing here. Also, they only take cash, so bring a wad with you unless you want to take a trek into town to pay with a card at the restaurant. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, and have a car full of groceries this would be a nice stay, but for an independent traveler needing a one night stay, you would be better off at the River Hotel in town.

The property is currently under construction so the view next to the unit makes it an eye sore especially from the main deck. Made the price we paid for the unit feel like we were overcharged. Once they are completed then it's going to look marvelous with a pool facility available.

Right on the beach about 13km out of port St Johns. Cottages are well equiped and tastefully decorated. Kitchen has all you nee. Nice pool and out door braai area. Debi went out of her way to return my precious Macbook charger that I left behind. Much apprechiated - thanks a lot!

The location is absolutely beautiful! The bed was comfy and there was everything we needed. Debi welcomed us and made us feel right at home. A lovely place, just across from the beach that we can highly recommend!
