The entrance driveway a bit difficult to navigate without a 4x4.

Need some work on service in the restaurant area plus the drinks in the bar are limited and of short supply.

Loved the fact that we stayed on a farm while in Clarens and the house we stayed in was enormous and a real old tradition farm house but with a slight modern feel

- We liked everything about the farm - Our only suggestion (given load shedding in SA) is that solar or generator be considered. That said, they do have gas

- Very well located 6km outside Clarens on Fouriesberg Road - Excellent accommodation and value for money - thank you Hannetjie - Good restaurant located on the farm - great service from Charmaine and Grace. Delicious food.

Was welcomed by a very friendly hostess together with Milo and Muis the 2 dogs. Accommodation was clean and smelled so fresh, even the guest toilets at the Restaurant smelled so clean and fresh. Neat and tidy Restaurant. Will definitely stay there again. Going to miss Milo and Muis the dogs.

There is a beautiful country restaurant on the premises that serves great food, we had breakfast there. The menu is great, offering curry, eisbein, seafood etc. There is a cave you can walk to on an adventure hike, so worthwhile. The alpacas are fun too !

Even with the wall heater and fire going the room is cold, so pack warm clothes. The lighting in the room is quite dim.

This was my 2nd stay at Linwood, the previous time was in summer. It's gorgeous in winter too. The room is gorgeous and the bath is perfect for long hot baths. Hannetjie is a gem, such an amazing host and my dog and I felt totally at home there.

The property is beautiful with great hiking trails. The staff is very welcoming and there is a restaurant on the farm.

The road from the gate to the permises is really requiring attention - especially when driving by car.

The location is spectacular and Hannetjie was so friendly and welcoming. She really made us feel at home in the beautiful facilities. We only stayed one night but wanted to stay 5 more!

We didn’t eat we had self catering The property is beautiful we even extended our stay to continue with the experience Most beautiful surroundings the manger and staff we great and was blessed to spend some time with the owners learning more about the property. Lovely owners 🙏🏾

The one ply toilet paper doesn't quite fit with the luxury feel of the place. There is no lighting over the bath and kitchen area. As others have noted a tv would be great. The units are close together so noise from other visitors wasn't pleasant.

The place is gorgeous and the room very tastefully decorated. The views of the mountains are breathing! The alpacas are a delight, as are the turkeys, ducks, chicken and bunnies. It is very dog friendly, there were no rules imposed and the residents dogs are very well socialized. Just note there is no fence around the units. We were greeted by Hannetjie, she is absolute gem and made us feel so welcome.

The restaurant on the property isn't open every day. Also some sort of back-up power during loadshedding would be great.

Hannetjie is an excellent hostess, will go out of her way to ensure you're happy and comfortable. Far enough from town for peace and tranquility but close enough when you need to get into town. Farm setting so enjoyed all the animals around too.
